Situated in the historic centre of the "La Macarena" district which is, nowadays, one of the most colourful districts of Seville, and one which has best conserved its traditional air. The apartment is located on a very quite street only a few meters from the street named Feria, one of the main thoroughfares. Since medieval times, every Thursday, this street hosts the “Feria Market” a rich cultural event where the streets are lined with stalls selling a vast range of wares. Daily one can walk the neighbourhood where traditional commercial activity occurs and there is a vast selection of local stores and markets to purchase fresh fruit and bread. Every bar and restaurant in the neighbourhood offers a wealth of history for viewing while one enjoys tasting traditional Spanish cuisine. One will also find the part of the old city walls built by the Almoravides. This section runs from the Puerta de Córdoba, now lost, to the Arch of La Macarena, the only one of the city gates still standing. The apartment includes a beautiful patio and a private solarium with a hammock and shade to both enjoy a breakfast or afternoon tea or an evening moon light dinners.

Lovely Appartment, Great Manager and Conveniently located

I enjoyed my stay at 56 Peral Street. It had all the facilites as advertised, Jean Pierre the manager could not do enough to help me and make my stay a good experience. It has a great roof terrace for having meals and relaxing. The appartment is located within a max of 45 mins walk to all the main attactions. It has banks, shops and pharmacies located within a 5 mins walk. And cafes and bars within 5 min walk on the Hercules de Almada. You are also easy walking distance to the river which is really beautiful to walk along. One of best serviced appartments I have stayed in.

8 Days in Seville

Arrived by train and taxi on 28 September First impressions of area were not great- a bit shabby and streets fouled by dogs. Met promptly and welcomed by Jean Pierre who gave a good overview of facilities and area. The pleasant apartment was bright and airy [second floor corner site] with windows on two sides off lounge. Furnishings were fresh from Ikea and could not be faulted. Other facilities fine but shower cubicle v small and could be a problem for some. The roof area which was well equipped would be greatly improved with strategically placed screening to hide aircon systems and clotheslines. Adjacent areas lively in the evening with a wide choice of good restaurants and bars. The main tourist areas are a leisurely and safe 15 min walk away. Throughout our stay Jean Pierre made regular attendances and was generally excellent Overall a very successful holiday in a wonderful city. We have no hesitation in recommending the accomodation and the city.

Great apartment in a great district of Sevilla (La Macarena)

The apartment was excellent in every way, except for the shower cubicle which was quite small, so not so comfortable to use. The beautiful white interior was a haven of cool and relaxation away from the intense heat of Sevilla in September. It was of a very good standard and the manager of the apartment, Jean-Pierre, was a delight to deal with, could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment and the area it's in of La Macarena. Not touristy but lively, interesting, and not too far from the centre of Sevilla.

First visit to Spain

I had good e mail correspondence with the manager, Jean Pierre before we arrived. He had requested we phone as we left the airport and Jean Pierre was there to greet us. We had an English friend working in Seville and he had found the property before we arrived and dropped us near the property. We wanted that area of Seville as it was close to the hotel the friend was staying in. The apartment was clean and had n more facilities than I had expected, such as a dishwasher and washing machine.It had a fridge freezer, I had only expected a fridge. The beds and other chairs were comfortable. The roof patio ewas a great advantage, it was lovely to meet other residents up there. The area was very quiet at night, even though it was close to Hercules Square. We may well return next year. I would like to comment on Seville itself. It is a lovely city but it is not easy for English speakers. The Tourist Offices could not speak English neither did they have information in English. We wished to go to Grenada for the day, no one seemed to know where the coaches left from.The timetable we were given were out of date There are 2 coach depots a long way apart in Seville. The bus routes are shown on the bus stops but need to be linked to the city street plan. It takes several days to sort all this out. Please do your lovely city more justice!!

Perfect Base for a break in Seville

The appartment suited our needs perfectly, it really was excellent. We did mean to ask for a second set of keys which would have made life easier but we never got around to it, likewise I couldn't access wifi but really it didn't matter and we knew we could always find Jean Pierre if needed. My faith in booking appartments on line has been restored after a negative experience on the coast in September!! Thank You.
