Andalucian house divided into 3 apartments around a beautiful pillared patio. Both apartments have air-conditioning, Sky TV and wireless access is available. Also available to use is a video games room with Xbox Kinect Or Nintendo Wii on a 42" Flat screen television (feel free to bring your own games), and a Exercise Room is free to use. The property is close to The Church of San Pedro and Lake (the Lago de Arcos) which has a beautiful hotel on its shores with its own swimming pool and is open from May to October for clients and visitors as well.
As both apartments are on the first floor they are not suitable for people who have problems with stairs. If you intend to hire a car a fairly compact one is highly recommend due to the narrow streets. parking is best in Plaza Cabildo which is an inexpensive pay and display.
The large roof terrace wraps its self around the building with stunning view of the surrounding countryside and lakes. A separate eating/sunbathing areas for both 1st floor apartments with tables/chairs and sun loungers plus a BBQ. There are also cloths drying areas.
Tarifa beach is about 40 minutes drive away, the beach is a paradise and is mostly empty (except July and August when the Spanish head to the coast). Tarifa is especially noted for wind surfing with many clubs and instructors available and all the other many Atlantic beaches that adorn this coastline.

Jerez airport is closest at about 25 kilometres away
Seville and Gibraltar are approximately an hour away
Malaga is about 2 hours 30 Minutes away
Car hire is available at all airports as well at the Carrefour shopping centre Arcos
Taxis, there is plenty of taxis ranks in Arcos de la Frontera and their costs are very reasonable
Buses run frequently to Jerez and to the beaches of Puerta Santa Maria and Cadiz and are inexpensive and there is a centro bus every half hour that more or less runs to the door and this goes all around the town so if you prefer not to hire a car you have good public transport. Also there is a bus that goes to the Lake by Hotel Molinera where there is an extensive swimming pool and play area if you prefer not to go to the beaches
The area has excellent roads and motorways - 20 mins to the Historic sherry town of Jerez de la Frontera, which has lots of opportunities for touring bodegas with tastings and tapas! Also there is a wonderful Alcazar with a marvelous camera obscura. Cadiz, with 3,000 years of recorded history, is a fine city with its bay on the Atlantic, 40 mins by car for the culture, excellent shopping, beaches, restaurants and lots of old streets to wander in. Or an hour to the orange trees and date palms of the beautiful town of Vejer de la Frontera – where you can eat at a restaurant in the square. Seville one of the most famous cities in Spain is only 45 minutes drive

Close by are the Alconocales, Grazelema and Donana National Parks which are famous for watching birds of prey, bird migration and much varied wildlife.
There is wind and kite surfing, canoeing, sailing and fishing on the coast.
The weather is great for all year round golf and tennis.
Close to Puerta Santa Maria is a water park which is open from June to end of September.
Sanlucar de Barrameda the home of Manzanilla (bit like dry sherry) they serve fantastic seafood by the beach.
There are boat trips in the coastal waters - park cheaply by the dock in El Puerto de Santa Maria and get the ferry to Cadiz in just 40 minutes for just over 2 euros each way and you're in the heart of the old city.
The properties are situated in the old town (Casco Historico) and just minutes from the bars, cafes restaurants, hotels ,The Parador and small shops with a daily market for fresh produce including fish and meat.
Arcos which is one of the oldest and finest Pueblo Blancos (White Villages) is now a town of nearly 30,000 people, so there are plenty of banks, supermarkets, shops and restaurants, and a large gymnasium for the really dedicated! There are two large pools open in the Summer, which belong to local hotels but are open to the public.
There is a municipal swimming pool, a football stadium and many more sporting facilities. Riding, walking and cycling are popular with many beautiful areas to explore which means young or old Arcos has something for everyone.
The nearest golf is the beautiful Arcos Gardens, a recently created quality course only a few minutes drive from Arcos and is available to non members at a cost, it has its own hotel and restaurant, but there are many more golf courses in the area including links courses on the coast..
