The surrounding area offers many natural and cultural attractions including;

Beaches, beaches and more beaches. Take your pick. There are so many unspoilt locations to choose from.

It is said that Walt Disney lived in the romantic white village on Mojacar perched on the hilltop and where many artists still reside. This village is a must see with stunning views and excellent food. Try the fresh water fed from a natural mountain spring.

Cabo de Gata Natural Park with its UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The European Tabernas Desert.

17km of unspoilt beaches with many restaurants and bars to suit every taste.

The lively fishing port of Garrucha is only a 20 minute walk away (5 min drive), where fresh fish is brought to the daily market and during the summer a nightly craft fair is held.

For the family there is the nearby Water Park at Vera and also Mini Hollywood Studios at Tabernas Desert where many famous Westerns have been filmed.

If you want to venture further skiing in Sierra Nevada is less than a 2 hour drive away, enabling you to combine sun, sea, snow and golf all in one day.
