Directly above the working white village of SAYALONGA, you could be amongst the very first guests to stay in our brand-new property. The beautiful mountain village of SAYALONGA is only 7km. from the motorway. Casita La Vista is then only 650m./700m. up from the main road (on a smaller, concrete road) all the way to your private, secure parking-space alongside our house.

We hope you'll be astounded by the breathtaking, panoramic views of the surrounding sierras and 3 more of the area's typical white villages. We have a spectacular stairway which leads down to the accommodation, which also enjoys two private terraces where you can sunbathe, lounge in some welcome shade, barbeque and generally relax, whilst drinking in the views across the valley below to the summit of La Maroma, the highest mountain in the Axarquia region.

Although small, most of the usual amenities are available in Sayalonga including a really interesting museum and art gallery. If you wish to travel further afield, we are 7km. from the motorway and 9km. to the coast at Algarrobo Costa. The nearest large towns are Vélez-Málaga (25mins.) Torre-del-Mar (25mins.) and Nerja (half an hour.) All times are approximate and by car. There is also a bus service to and from the village.

Unfortunately, it's impossible for photographs to do justice to either Casita La Vista or its location; but we think it's always better to be delighted with your choice when you arrive, than disappointed!
* If you need more accommodation for friends or family, we are situated just across the lane from "La Casita" Property I.D. 1406.

Our accommodation comprises: A spacious double bedroom with hot/cold air-conditioning and enough room to move comfortably around the super-king sized bed. (Twin beds available if required.) A glazed door opens out onto one of the private terraces.

A built-in clothes cupboard, opposite the shower-room, is in a passage which connects these areas to the kitchen and salon. The shower is 120cm. wide and has ample "elbow room".

The open-plan kitchen has plenty of work-space, equipment and a 4-person dining area.

The salon has a 4/5 person sofa which converts to a comfortable 140cm. bed. Hot/cold air conditioning. You will also find an extra storage room which houses the freezer, washing machine and space to store your empty luggage and golf or hiking equipment, for example.

You can choose to be as active or as inactive as you care to be whilst here as we are only a short drive away from all the lively resorts and other attractions that anyone may care to sample.
Conversely, just a few steps from your door will take you to the start of numerous walks through the hills to return to a calm, relaxing base from which to enjoy everything this wonderful area has to offer.

Excellent residence

This is an excellent residence situated on the hill side. Inside you will find all needed equipment, and everything is nice and clean. Outside there is a fantastic view from the large terrace. The surroundings are suitable for walks. The host pair is exceptional kind and helpful. We can very much recommend this residence.

Rest and Relaxation

An excellent holiday home which is very well appointed. We found the house had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Spectacular views across the valley, quiet and private. A car is essential to reach the property and to make the most of the surrounding area. Less than an hour from the airport but certainly away from the hustle & bustle of cities, makes the location great for the start of a relaxing holiday. Lots of villages in the area to visit and the coast is also within easy reach. Sayalonga is a 'sleepy' village but has enough by way of of restaurants/bars to give you a choice as well as small shops/supermarkets/bakery/deli to supply you with all your essentials. A big thankyou to Jennifer and Mark for their hospitality. :o)
