The townhouse is on a quiet corner and has two roof terraces with views over the Sierra Almijara mountians, Competa and the sea. It has recently been refurbished and has a new kitchen and modern bathroom.

The living room has exposed original beams, two large sofas with television/video/DVD and radio/cassette/cd player. This room has a cosy feel and is cool in summer and warm in winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker/hob and fridge. This room has a full length window with doors and railings, which makes in light and airy The bathroom has a shower and a full sized washing machine and is of a large size. The breakfast room offers sunshine and is an pleasant place to eat the fresh bread from the baker a few houses away.There is a second living area with a double sofa bed and stairs to the roof terraces. These have safty railings and a view over the town and out to sea down through the mountains. There is also a patio table and chairs. The main bedroom has a double bed and clothes storage. Bedroom two has two single beds and storage. The house is situated on a corner so had many windows which make it very light.

The townhouse is situated near to the town square so is in easy walk of all main facilites. These include a beautful swimming pool at the local hotel, a aqua park on the coast (30 mins), horse riding, mountain biking and motor bike cross county facitilies available locally. Market day is Saturday and has a warm friendly feel. The town is self contained so is very suitable for long breaks were car hire may not be required, local taxis can collect you from the airport. A short drive to the coast where you can find caves, Roman ruins and great food on the promenades. At Torre de la mar there is a large hypermarket and shopping complex which offers a cinema. Nerja offers a flea market, carrage rides and a local train. It also has a very impressive sea front with an balcony over the sea. Malaga offers castles, a Roman arena and great shopping. The local mountains offer great opportunities for walking, maps are availble locally, the national park has streams, waterfalls and great bar be que areas for cooking the locally caught fish.

We are a family of 4 who bought the property as our holiday home and enjoyed refurbishing the house ourselves. We have spent may years enjoying the town as we live in rural England and need a car for everything. Our children love the freedom and safety of the town, the welcome from local people and the sand on the local beaches.
