This apartment is excellent and in an ideal situation for all the benefits of Roquetas de Mar. It was clean and well equipped. We cooked far more than on previous trips because of the superb cooking facilities. Antonio and Anna could not have been more helpful or friendly but at the same time they were not intrusive on our stay. We would certainly recommend this apartment.
Antonio and family were very accomidating and nothing was to much trouble only downside was no air con in bedroom otherwise superb and would recommend to anyone
Excellent host Antonio from booking to leaving nothing was too much trouble for him. Apartment clean comfortable and well furnished with everything you will need. Excellent WiFi and location. Pool lovely and clean. Will return soon. Thank you Antonio for all your help and information you made it a stress free holiday.

The apartment owners, Antonio and Ana, are lovely people – very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they had left things for us in the fridge, such as water, wine, ham and cheese. This was unexpected, and so kind of them! The next day, Antonio also brought us a huge bag of vegetables from his greenhouse – a very generous gesture, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, Antonio collected us from Almería airport and gave us a short tour of Roquetas, which was very helpful. He and Ana also took us back to the airport at the end of our stay – €25 each way, which we thought was reasonable. We spent 3 weeks in their third-floor apartment in the Complejo Roquemar from the end of November till mid-December. (Antonio and Ana also have other apartments in the complex.) The apartment was clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. There was plenty of storage space by way of a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The shower was a good size, with good water pressure, and there was no problem with hot water. At that time of year, the balcony had the sun from about 11.30 a.m. until sunset. The only small thing was that the television had no English channels – not even BBC World. Obviously, we do not go on holiday in order to watch television, but sometimes in the evenings it is nice to catch up. We knew that in December Roquetas would be quiet, but we were surprised at how very quiet the immediate area was at that time. However, luckily for us, the Lodge bar just by the complex, run by the very friendly Juan and Sara, has TVs showing Sky Sport, BT Sport, etc. And within a 5-minute walk there are nice tapas bars/cafés/restaurants such as the Miramar, the Puertomar and La Traska. Also, there is a small supermarket just across the road from the side entrance of the complex, or it’s a 20-minute stroll to a large Mercadona. Several times we walked along the very nice promenade, or along the inland roads, to the Castilla/port area in one direction, and to the Playa Serena/Las Marinas area in the other. Each way is a stroll of about 20–30 minutes, or you can catch a bus for €1.30. There is a bus stop right by the Roquemar complex. You can also get a bus to the big Roquetas street market on Thursday morning (near Gran Plaza shopping centre; bus costs €1.30) or to the city of Almería (€1.95). Or you can hire bikes (there is a cycle path alongside the promenade). Although we were well out of season, the weather was lovely. Out of the 21 days we were there, it rained for only 2 days and there were 3 or 4 afternoons/evenings that were very windy. But mostly we had sunshine and temperatures of around 16–19 degrees.
