Beautiful first floor apartment on a quiet development close to a blue-flag beach. Comfortably and stylishly furnished throughout.

The two-bedroom apartment, which can accommodate up to 6 people, is on the Laguna Beach development, and was completed at the end of 2006, It is situated on the first floor, with access via stairs or lift, and has been stylishly and comfortably furnished. The apartment enjoys a commanding view over the pool, the gardens and the lake, as well as views of the sea and the distant mountains. It is decorated to a high standard, and features tiled floors throughout, and rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and air-conditioning, which can also provide heating if required out of season.

The location is quiet, but the marina, with shops, bars and restaurants is only 5 minutes away by car. Cycling, walking, golf, and sailing are all available close by. To the east of the town, the nature reserve of Punta Entinas – Sabinal is a fascinating location, with a wild life of all kinds, including flamingos.

For the more adventurous, the hills and mountains of the Alpujaras and Sierra Nevada are just a short drive away.

About the Apartment

The accommodation consists of a sitting-dining room, with dining table and sofas, coffee tables, TV, DVD player, and radio/CD player. One sofa converts easily into full size double bed.

Patio doors lead out onto a south-facing balcony, which is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining and sunbathing, and which overlooks the main pool area.

The fully fitted kitchen includes full-size ceramic hob and oven, large fridge-freezer and front-loading automatic washing machine. Toaster, kettle, and all pots and pans, crockery, utensils and cutlery are provided. There is a useful serving hatchway to the dining area.

A hallway leads from the sitting-dining room to the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with reading lights, and a large fitted wardrobe with ample hanging space, drawers and shelves. A large full-length window ensures the room is light and airy. The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled, and has toilet, washbasin and shower enclosure.

The second bedroom has twin beds and a bedside table with reading light, and again has a large fitted wardrobe with hanging space, drawers and shelves.

About Laguna Beach

In the grounds of the complex there are three swimming pools (open during the summer months), two childrens pools and life guards are on duty. There are tennis courts and also two Spanish Padel tennis courts. There is an indoor area with jacuzi, sauna, table tennis and gymnasium facilities. The gardens are attractively landscaped, and at one end adjoin Lake Victoria, which has a sailing school where kayaks may be hired. There are two childrens play areas with swings and see-saws.

A secure parking garage is located under the apartment block, where there is a reserved space allocated. Pedestrian access from the garage is by lift or stairs.

Almerimar

Almerimar is a modern resort, centred around an attractive sports marina. Around the marina can be found many restaurants, tapas bars and pubs, to suit all tastes and pockets, and a stroll around the harbour makes a very pleasant walk in the evening before dinner.

There are several banks, a doctors surgery, pharmacy, a Church, an excellent supermarket and many other essential services in the nearby marina area.

There is a golf course just moments drive from the apartment, and several other courses within half an hours drive. Horse riding is available, and the area is ideal for walking or cycling.

The Costa De Almeria

The small town of Almerimar is situated in the South East corner of Spain, in the province of Almeria, the most easterly province of Andalucia. The Costa de Almeria is amongst the warmest and sunniest in Europe, with over 3000 hours of sun each year. Winter temperatures are mild, (it can reach 20°C even in January), yet it is not too hot even in the middle of summer. The Costa de Almeria is totally different to the over-developed areas further west, and offers unspoilt beaches, National Parks, and mountains. From the beaches in the south, 2 hours drive can take you to the snowy mountains of the Sierra Nevada, or to the only desert in Europe, the Desierto de Tabernas.

Granada, with its famous Alhambra palace, is just over one hour away, in the heart of the Sierra Nevadas. Some of the highest peaks in Europe provide excellent skiing in winter.

Closer to hand, Almeria - 30 minutes away - boasts a fine Moorish castle and fascinating historic centre. The national park of the Cabo de Gata has spectacular scenery, and together with the other national parks in the area offers a wide variety of animal and birdlife.

Good apartment

Good apartment in a good complex, near to a beach, in very quiet small town on Mediterranean sea, excellent rest, especially, if with you the small child.
