Welcome to Villa Carmenes del Mar, a wonderful four bedroom Holiday Villa, set in a fabulous location, overlooking, and with uninterrupted views of the spectacular bay of La Herradura, on the Costa Tropical, Southern Spain. A more beautiful location for your Self Catering Vacation, would be extremely difficult to find.
A Luxury 4 bedroom Holiday Villa with Air Conditioning and Private Pool. Villa Carmenes del Mar is the ultimate in self catering Accommodation. This beautiful spacious Villa has a large main terrace and is ideal family accommodation for up to 8 persons.
The Villa comprises 4 bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms, and a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and two have two single beds in each. Bed linen and towels are provided.
There is a very large dining and sitting room with 3 sets of double doors leading onto the main terrace which boasts a good size private pool. Large fully fitted kitchen with sliding glass doors also leading onto the terrace to another dining area.
There are extensive East and South facing terraces on 4 levels with breathtaking views. There is also a covered pergola with sunbathing area, outdoor shower and ample sun loungers.
For those many wonderful warm, balmy evenings, a BBQ is an essential, and is provided for your use in a lovely barbecue area. In addition to all the other extensive outdoor space, there is a very pretty Garden on the ground level, with a variety of fruit trees - a lovely shady spot to cool down in the heat of the day……Villa Carmenes del Mar is a perfect retreat…..yet just five minutes by car to the typically Spanish old town of La Herradura, and the beautiful Marina del Este; a delightful Marina with café’s, bars and restaurants, nestling in the adjoining bay. The Villa Carmenes del Mar, because of it’s very special location, is conveniently situated for visiting a whole range of places within the incomparable Region of Andalucia………Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Malaga……just to name a few. In winter, it is possible to ski in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Granada in the morning, and return to the villa in the afternoon to bathe in the warm winter sun…… The best of all worlds here…..
In the Villa, there is also individually controlled air-con and heating throughout the house . The property comfortably provides accommodation for 8 people. Guests also have the full use of the Community pool and paddle tennis courts located opposite the house. This villa is a non smoking property and the owners are unable to accept pets.

The Villa is a 4-storey property. Top Floor has spectacular double bedroom with en suite and private large terrace. Breathtaking views of La Herradura bay. Entrance level has 3 bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite and two other rooms with two single beds in each. Lower floor has very large lounge/dining room with quality sofas in both leather and fabric, and also a large dining table with eight chairs.
Ground Floor comprises of gardens and fruit trees and lawn with easy access to communal pool which can also be used, if preferred which is in very close proximity to the house.

It is recommended you hire a car, there is no garage available but there are plenty of areas to park at the entrance to the villa.
The large bay of La Herradura provides all kinds of sports and is just 5 minutes drive from Villa Carmenes del Mar. Many other unspoilt beaches, with typical beach bars/cafes, are within a few kilometres. The Marina Del Este is just a 10 minute drive as also is the town and beach of Almuneca. Golf courses are a 30 minute drive at Salobrena and Velez Malaga. The Sierra Nevada is approx one hours drive where you can ski in winter months. The wonderfully Spanish, beautiful old town of Nerja, with it’s wonderful Balcon de Europa is a must to visit, and is about a 20 minute drive away.
There are a range of activities nearby, scuba diving, windsurfing, sailing, walking in the National Park, hang gliding, fishing and climbing. There are also numerous Art Galleries in the area and Night Clubs.
There are ceiling fans in every room and if air conditioning is required there is a 100 Euros weekly supplement.
Discounts available for anything over a 3 week period. Price includes Linen and towel hire.
Deposit 20%, balance 8 weeks payable before start date.
On arrival a security deposit of €300 required, this will be returned to you after a satisfactory inspection of the property after departure.
Winter monthly rental client to pay extra for Electricity consumed and any laundry or cleaning cost for a month 1200 Euros
