This brand new modern villa is within walking distance to the Cambrils Mont-roig beaches. It's ideal for families wanting to visit the Theme Park Port Aventura or go to the Aquopol. Below you will see some photos, prices, a calendar and a description of the property.

The villa sleeps 8 people comfortably in two double bedrooms and two bedrooms with bunk beds, though we can easily accommodate up to 9 people with a supplementary bed. It has one complete bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a toilet on the ground floor for extra convenience. The living room is spacious with comfortable sofa, television, a DVD player and DVD's for further entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads onto a small back patio where there is the washin room. From the lounge, there is a private front garden with chairs and a large dining table that is ideal for enjoying lazy evenings, or dining al fresco with a chilled bottle of wine or an ice-cold beer. From the front garden, one can access the enclosed pool area and the children’s play ground.

The villa has central heating for the winter months and air-conditioning through-out.

Changeover day

We don’t have a preferred changeover day. Any day is good as long as we have availability. Check-in time around 4pm. Check out time by 10am but we will do our best to accommodate you up-on arrival.

Surroundings

The villa is about 15 / 20 minutes from the Theme Park Port Aventura as well as the Aquopolis water and Dolphin park. There are a few Cafes, a supermarket & several resturants within walkng distance from the villa. One of the restaurants is on the beach and becomes quite popular in the summer.

Coast / Beach

The sandy beaches of Cambrils Mont-roig Bahia are within less than a 15 minute walk. The golden beaches of Salou and Cabrils are about 10 minutes drive away.

Golf

Six golf courses nearby. Aigüesverdes, Costa Dorada Golf, Bonmont and the 3 greens of Port Aventura.

Travel

Reus Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from the villa. Good services at low rates are available from Ryanair. Car hire available at Reus and Barcelona airports.

Barcelona Airport is about one hour and a quarter drive away. Easyjet flies regularly into Barcelona at economy rates.

A car is advisable but for those not wanting to rent a car, we can organise a mini-bus for airport pickups and returns at very reasonable rates. This service can also be extended for day trips into places of interest at your request.

Good and Bad

Whilst our kids thoroughly enjoyed this property the pool left a great deal to be desired as it turned anything white a shade of green and ruined the elasticity. This was apparently due to too much chlorine. After nearly a week the pool was eventually sorted. We were re-imbursed for the three bikini's ruined butthe men's trunks were also ruined by the elasticity going. There are no sunbeds around the pool. The garden was shingle but full of weeds and little thistles which stuck into your foot if you went without shoes. The garden is fenced and gated for the safety of smaller children. There is a train line next to the complex which runs from early morning to late night. Both goods and commuter trains. The local beach was, in our opinion,one of the better beaches although classed as a'virgin'beach (no sunbeds & only a portacabin toilet) it did have a small beach bar. Lots of waves added to the enjoyment.The nearest supermarket is the local camp shop 500m away and rather expensive compared to Llidle in Cambrils. A car is necessary rather than desired since the bus runs infrequently and is a fair walk away from the house. As the area is undeveloped there is nothing to do in the evening - which for us was fine as we made our own entertainment. All in all - our family enjoyed the holiday and the house is a good size for 8 people. If you intend a day at Portaventura buy your tickets on line or by phone beforehand (especially in August) as it saves on the long queues

Family on holiday

Nice and serviceminded owners. But the appartment did not live up to our expectations. There seeems to be leakage from the bathrooms and it was not easy to make food because of missing equipment in the kitchen. NO DVD, and no card in the TV, so we were unable to watch TV.(That actually no big deal for us). Noisy trains passes near the appartment regularly. Nice pool and playground for the kids.
