Holiday Home Description
It is a few minutes drive from the charming resort of Moraira which has a special upmarket charm that is quite different from most other Spanish holiday destinations. The town has not lost any of its Spanish characteristics with its marina, unique shops and artisan stalls. Excellent dining can be found on the waterfront or nestled in the narrow streets of the old town offers a variety of menus at a price to suit all pockets. In addition, Moraira is blessed with two picturesque, Blue Flag status, golden sanded beaches with parking, amenities and life guards to hand.
The property comprises of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and a dining/living room with open fire which opens onto a balcony that overlooks vineyards and with a backdrop of the distant mountains.
One of the apartment’s special features is that the sun rises on the front patio and sets on the balcony and it is here that spectacular sunsets can be witnessed. This makes it excellent for alfresco eating; breakfasting on the patio and in the evening dining on the balcony or having an aperitif as the sun sets before going out to dine.
There are a number of supermarkets close by with international or inexpensive local products.
Families with young children
The setting is an ideal environment for families with babies and young children. Alongside the main pool there is children’s pool and grassed area for play. Families can spend all day around the pools, swimming, playing and relaxing on the sun terrace. Sun beds and sun parasols (found in the property) can be taken to the pools to provide comfort & shade.
The swimming pool, sun bathing terrace and gardened areas are for the exclusive use of residents/guests. With most owners choosing not to let their properties, these areas are never crowded.
With the holiday home being near to the pool everything is close to hand to return to during the day for refreshments and siestas.
Beaches
The local beaches, with their golden sand offer hours of fun building sand castles and playing in the shallow sea. All have good amenities including refreshments, toilets and life guards. Some beaches have cafes and bars. Nearby Calpe and Javea offer alternative beaches and shopping.
Couples
A great variety of friendly restaurants, Spanish and International cuisine are close by. There is a romantic beach (Cumbre de Sol) with beach bar nearby ideal for night time picnics and star gazing. A number of bars are great to visit for a cocktail as the sun is setting.
