The Trade Fair of Tourism, Art and Culture, Euroal, started today in Torremolinos. Working within the tourism sector I thought that this was something that I had to see with my own eyes, so off I headed to Torremolinos.

Euroal: Trade Fair of Tourism, Art and Culture.

It is the fifth consecutive year that Euroal takes place in Torremolinos. This year the fair runs from the 3rd to the 5thof June and takes place in the Congress center in Torremolinos.  The fair focuses mainly on Latin America and Europe and is a good start if you are planning a trip to one of two continents.

Having been to major tourism fairs in other parts of the world I must say that Euroal is considerably small. However, if you are looking for information or inspiration about travelling in either Spain or any Latin American country you will definitely find something of interest. There are quite a few stands that offer all types of information and pamphlets that you might need. Some even go out of the ordinary and offer you a taste of the country, such as Mojito drinks in the Cuban stand or Arabic delights in the Moroccan stand.

I gathered up a great selection of free information about attractions in Spain and more concrete in Andalusia. Great for the eager traveler who wants to experience the country and go beyond the typical tourist attractions that are more than often portrayed in the tourist offices. Needless to say, I am now eagerly looking forward to reading everything in order to plan my next little weekend trip!

If you are in the area and would like to do something different then Euroal is definitely a good option.  The entrance is free of charge and you can even take the “tourist train” from Street San Miguel in Torremolinos and get a free ride through the town to the fair.

A trip to the trade fair in the "tourist train".

Friday 04/06 – 10:00 – 14:00 and 15:30 – 19:00

Saturday 05/06 – 11:00 – 20:00.
