The beautiful coastal  town of Moraira on the Costa Blanca  is one of the most charming places to visit. I am so very  lucky to live here. In the summer the place is just magic, with  the best two nights of the year being the 15th & 16th July. This is when Moraira’s council  takes on the challenge to stage  firework displays to rival the festivals in Valencia and other large cities  in Spain.

If you like fireworks , you’ll love this!

So, if you are holidaying anywhere along the Costa Blanca during this time then we invite you along to our town to enjoy a spectacular show.

Evening of the 15th July- Fireworks to music. Set to 4 or 5 pieces of music, ranging from Classical to pop, the display lasts for some 20-25 minutes. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with a good view of the proceedings but we like to take  some beers and  wines and sit ourselves down on the Ampolla beach. Its a brilliant night which rivals the fabulous  displays of the Valencian Fallas.

Evening of 16th - Water Fireworks. On this night its best to find a place alongside the marina  or next to the castle so you can  see these Fireworks jump out from the sea and reach right across our town.   The atmosphere is warm, fun, and  friendly. and its free!

Hope to see you there!
