Malaga’s public buses are to have free Wi-Fi internet access. The EMT – Empresa Malagueña de Transporte – Malaga’s public transport company- has just stated that 45 of its buses are going to be fitted with the latest Wi-Fi technology enabling customers to connect to the Internet free of charge.
Clear Channel Spain won the tender to provide the internet access.

In exchange for the installation and maintenance of the Internet connections, Clear Channel Spain have been granted a two year advertising contract, with the right to advertise on 210 of Malaga’s fleet of 242 public buses – the remaining 32 buses are reserved for ‘institutional advertising.’
In September of last year Madrid became the first city in the World to offer the service.
