Despenaperros National Park

The Parque Natural de Despenaperros is situated in the Province of Jaen. The National Park acts as a natural barrier between Andalucia and the rest of Spain. Despite being an area that many people travel through, it is not area that has opened up to tourism.
Providing some truly spectacular scenery, with the Los Órganos Natural Monument, a rock that is shaped like a giant church organ, as well as caves, waterfalls and precipitous slopes. The park covers a total area of some 7,717ha / 19,069 acres with peaks rising to above 1,000m. Characterized by the ruggedness of its arid landscape and the uniqueness of its rock formations. The area is often cited as paradise for photographers.

Montes de Malaga – Malaga mountains

Right on Malaga’s doorstep, only 14kms from the city centre is the Montes de Malaga Natural Park. Visiting the park makes a fantastic day out for all the family. With easy access, good roads, well signposted hiking routes and all the facilities you could hope for, with good restaurants, designated camping zones and picnic areas.
The Montes de Malaga are a heavily forested area that is characterized by deep gorges and sheer drops that have been carved out by torrents of water. Torrents of water being precisely why the Montes de Malaga Natural Park was created in the first place.

Sierra de Grazalema

The Sierra de Grazalema National Park is situated in the northeastern part of the province of Cadiz, in southern Spain. The 51,695ha park encompasses a series of limestone mountain ranges known collectively as the Sierra de Grazalema.
Declared a UNESCO Biospere reserve in 1977. It was the first park in Andalucia to be given ‘National park’ status in 1984.
