This village, Adeje, is located in the south-western part of the island Tenerife. The main activity of this village is tourism, especially in the area of "PLaya de las Americas" where in the past years there has been constructed a lot. It is therefore and of course due to the wonderful climat and its wonderful beaches, visited all year long by tourists.
Places to visits:
1) the coastal part of the village, called "costa Adeje", that is close to Los Cristianos and PLaya de las Americas has grown a lot in the past years.
2) The "Barranco del Infierno" or Hells canyon can be visited all year long and it is definely worth one!
3) There are several monuments by the denominated "Arte Sacro" worth a visit as well: Santa Ursula Church or the Monestary to name the most important ones
4) The "Casa Fuerte", mainly in ruin, but still possible to be visited, which is a historical and artistical monument.
Adeje is also home to Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe, which has just opened its doors. If you are staying in Tenerife, dont forget to take your children there!
