Description: |
Visitors to our home are met by Carol (keyholder) and greeted with a pack of essentials including some local produce & wine. A warm welcome to our warm & sunny home. It sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms) & has 2 bathrooms. All tastefully decorated and with comfort in mind. It has been equipped with all facilities so that your stay is relaxed and comfortable. Situated on the outskirts of Loja - a friendly provincial town - it is close to amenities, local restaurants and bars. It is a short half hour drive through stunning countryside to Granada, or Iznajar - a beautiful white washed town sitting impressively on top of a craggy hill surrounded by a large fresh water lake. Only an hours drive is the historic & beautiful city of Cordoba and its famous Mezquita. If fishing is your passion, the house is a 5-minute drive from Rio Frio, a picturesque village where it is possible to fish for trout (you need to purchase a license), or dine on local fish in one of its restaurants. Although Loja is set amidst mountains, the area is known for walking, the sea is not far away. It takes around 45 minutes to get to the nearest beaches around Malaga. If you enjoy skiing, the slopes are 1 hour away and are easy to reach. The house is perfectly positioned for day trips/visits. That is, if you should wish to venture from the house itself!
Please note, this house is not especially suited to families with young children as the pool is not fenced.

A very comfortable and sunny family house in a quiet residential road with its own swimming pool and games room equipped with a table tennis table, table football and darts board. (Teenagers dream!) Has all amenities: TV, video (& video library), DVD, hifi, washing machine, microwave, parking under shady car port, sun loungers, barbeque & terrace (which runs the full length of the house & is lovely for sitting on in the evenings...). Mature garden with fruit trees. Property is surrounded by a rose & honeysuckle hedge. |
