Walking distance to 30 great restaurants and bars with astonishing views of the mountains and the mediteranian sea. 15 minutes to the beaches of Nerja. You can go hiking or horsebackriding in the Tejada National Park that starts at the end of the village. You can experience one of many famous spanish festivals or simply enjoy a great british rock'n roll band on sundays at Splash-pub. But remember to take a break at the old church-square and enjoy a cafe con leche. Not to mention; at the end of the day get the best home-made paella from Eduardos next-door and enjoy it on your roof-terrace while looking at the sunset or in a front of wood burning stove.

Beutiful townhouse and Excellent Location

We stayed for 2 weeks late April/early May 2012 in this townhouse. It was one of the best decisions we have made because we had a wonderful time. Initially we were concerned becuase we dont speak any Spanish and we didnt have a car but it made no difference. We got around perfectly well and armed with a phrase book the locals were friendly enough to help out a couple of Australians who didnt know their language. The townhouse is gorgeous and practical. We were very comfortable. There is everything you need there to enjoy your stay. We didn't want for anything. We cooked, washed and cleaned quite easily with what is provided. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. You can see the mountains, the valley and the ocean. The bed is comfy and there is books, music and tv which we used on the couple of rainy days we had whilst there. The location is also brilliant because you are in walking distance to the supermarket, bakery, fishmonger, butcher, pharmacy and of course many pubs and restaurants. If you want to go into Nerja, to the beach or bigger stores you can catch the bus which runs a few times a day, or if you miss the bus there is always a taxi at the taxi stand to do the trip for you at a reasonable price. The walks in and around the town and the national park are fabulous. They will get the heart rate going to work off all the lovely wine you will drink while there. There is plenty to do, or nothing to do, depending on what type of holiday you want. The locals on this street are particularly friendly. No need to feel uncomfortable. We met many interesting Spaniards who were so willing to have a chat and help us out. And finally, the hosts, Larissa and Peter were not only gave us great service and communication but they are generous enough to let complete strangers from the other side of the world, use their home. I suggest you go to this townhouse in Frigiliana. You won't be disappointed.

Town house in Frigiliana

We loved our stay in Frigiliana and the property was delightful!The wood burning fire was very efficient and plenty of wood had been delivered and brought up to the living room. We were initially concerned by steepness of the stairs (we are elderly)but no problems encountered...and we thought the exercise was good for us !! However,this could be a problem for others. We intend to return !

Frigilliana review Sept 2011

We had a fantastic week long break in this beautiful town house. The Sun Terrace was fantastic and we pretty much lived outside for most of the time we were there - enjoying the opportunity to have BBQs for most Lunches. The area is beautiful and I can't wait to go back. Only slight issues that we had is that it can be pretty noisy if you don't want to get up early in the Morning. Also, it would have been really useful to have a bit of a guide to the practical parts of living in someones home - like what to do with bins, use of appliances etc. Other than these very minor points, the accommodation is lovely and the owners a pleasure to deal with. I would strongly recommend a visit!
