This spectacular, luxury, 3 bedroom property is set in one of the most beautiful areas of Spain. Only a short distance away from Cortes De Pallas. One of the grandest and most breathtaking reservoirs in the whole of Spain. Apart from the ancient castles, the little Spanish villages and of course, the hot Mediterranean sun, one could be forgiven for thinking that they were amongst the lochs of Scotland.
The house is set in it’s own picturesque landscape with absolutely stunning mountain views from every orientation. And sun from every aspect too.
ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME
Spacious, clean and freshly decorated.
There are two dinning areas. Inside and out. The outside table is large enough for a Kings banquet and is undercover and in the shade. When you have finished your meal, there are comfy chairs close by and a choice of games to close the evening.
Take your pick between the bbq at the front of the building and the traditional paella at the rear. If you fancy a film, we have a wide selection of videos and dvds to choose from.
There are swings for the children and loungers for the adults and a 12 x 8 swimming pool for the whole family.
The house and swimming pool are contained within the grounds by perimeter fencing.
Macastre is a beautiful and typical Spanish village only a short drive away from the house. Quaint little cafes and bars serving tapas and palleas, as well as some great local wines for little expense.
Also, just a short drive away, is the historical town of Bunol, which dates back to the Moors. The town is also famous for La Tomatina For one day. every year, people flock to it’s tiny streets from all over the world to await the arrival of three trucks, loaded high with tomatoes. we have just spent a wonderfully peaceful stay at casa la montana. The house is in a lovely setting. Sat by the pool most days. The sky was blue the air is warm. The local town of Macastre had a couple of small shops and 2 bakeries. In Albroache (the next village) had a small supermarket where you can get everything you possibly need for your stay. Bunol, has loads of shops and is about 20 minutes away. I think it was good value for money. We stayed in peak season as my husband is a teacher so we can not really choose a cheaper period, but none the less for what we we wanted it was a reasonable price. It is remote, but then that is a good thing. The description given in the house details were accurate. i would recommend casa la montana to anyone that required a real piece of Spain away from the crowds and especially anyone that enjoys walking in the hills. We set off to walk to the resevoir but came back for the car as it is quite a trek, if you have children definately take the car. It is worth a trip there though. Local villages also had a couple of bars if you want a evening stroll and a drink out. Locals are pretty friendly and helpful. Knowing a little of the language would be a bonus.

A great holiday, a home from home, this property was ideal for all our needs. We had a great relaxing time here. My two boys enjoyed the pool and using the bikes to go on cycle rides. There was a great collection of dvds for when that sun was just a little too hot. The surrounding area was ideal for country wals and cycle rides. The village was lovely with great restuarants and bars.

We loved the house and the area. We holidayed at the house for two weeks in 2006 and enjoyed every minute. Ideal place for children.
