Casa Blanca is beautifully presented with everything needed for a relaxing enjoyable stay in the heart of Andalucia.

Kitchen on ground floor; with fridge/freezer, 4 ring hob,oven,and extractor fan,iron,ironing board,electric kettle and toaster. Fitted base and wall units, spot lights.dining table chairs,and breakfast bar.

Living Room on first floor with double sofa bed, separate armchair, occasional chairs, bookcase with a selection of books and information folder, nest of tables, wall mounted tv with satellite dish for UK channels and digital aerial for Spanish programmes,cd/radio and wi fi for internet access

Shower room: shower cubicle,wash hand basin,wc
Main bedroom on second floor with king size bed,wardrobe.bedside tables and lights
Steps leading from the bedroom up to the first terrace.

Terrace room on lower terrace with double sofa bed,chairs and glass coffee table,drinks fridge,patio furniture and sun shade for use on the roof terraces.Washing machine in alcove.Steps leading from the lower terrace to the upper roof terraces

Clean linen and fresh towels will be provided when you arrive. Ceramic wall heaters throughout the house if needed in winter months. Two portable cooling fans for summer use
No pets or smoking inside the house

This house is perfectly equipped for holiday use and can be combined with property id number 8089 for larger groups being located on the same street.

However it is unsuitable for people with mobility problems due to the elevated position of the house It is suitable for older children but not for younger groups. Most Spanish houses are tiled. Extra care is needed throughout the house and roof terraces. The sole responsibility for their safety is yours and a condition of the contract should you decide to book.

Notes
Olvera is a traditional hill top town known as pueblo blancos with a population of approximately 10,000 The main church and the Moorish castle both in an elevated position can be seen for miles around and are an attraction for tourists both international and national. Tourists are keen to learn about the history of these monuments and also to enjoy the spectacular views from their respective vantage points

The church was built in 1822 on the foundations of a small Andalucian Moorish style church When it was finished in 1843 it was deemed to be one of the greatest churches of the province with dimensions worthy of a cathedral The restored and renovated castle is situated adjacent to the church and has a tourist information office.

There are numerous friendly bars and cafes for people to sample the local fare and enjoy the food and drink in an unhurried way without any pressure from the proprietors to vacate the table. Cooking at home is no problem due to the local mini supermarkets dotted around all within walking distance. Olvera is renowned for its olive oil and the olive groves.

There is a public pool in the village open in summer months and at the nearby lake of Zahara there is a man made swimming area with delightfully fresh mountain water, plenty of shade plus a cafe/bar.
The via verde is an excellent 38km walking,cycling and horse riding route passing through breath taking scenery. In nearby Algodonales Para gliding is available. The whole area is a haven for bird watchers and day tours with a guide are available.
The house provides an excellent base to explore the surronding white villages and the Andalucian cities of Sevilla and Jerez are just over an hour's drive away. Granada and Cordoba within 2hrs and stunning Ronda just 35mins away
If you want to visit without a car, Seville, Malaga and Ronda are accesible by bus from Olvera. Granada can be reached by train from a railway station about 20 minutes from Olvera For people without transport airport pick up can be arranged
There will be someone to meet you on arrival to answer any queries. English and Spanish is spoken.

Excellent town house

Olvera is a lovely friendly white town built on a steep hill with the Cathedral at the top. I did'nt hire a car but went by bus from Malaga through other small villages and towns taking under two hours. I was met and escorted to David's town house by the lady who looks after his property. I can tell you it is some walk from the centre town up to the cathedral where his house sits directly under the cathedral wall. By the end of my holiday I could nearly strole up this road. His property is perfect and I was quite envious of such a beautiful compact three up with sun terrace. Can I say- the pubs are great and I could write a review on them. My only complaint- the cathedral clock.PS.Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
