You are on the very edge of a cliff-top between the port and the open sea, with astounding mountain or sea views from all principal rooms. Architecturally distinctive and full of character, El Castillo has beams, hand-painted tiles, exposed stone walls, columns and arches - all reflecting its Moorish inspiration. It is just a short walk down to the port's amenities and restaurants yet this beautifully positioned property feels private and secluded, perfect for those preferring a tranquil environment.

Comfortable and very well equipped with summer sea breezes and heating for the winter, this is a wonderful base for hiking and cycling in the Tramuntana mountains. There are maps and guidebooks provided to help you. You may also wish to stroll down to the beach, take a boat to La Calobra, explore the nearby villages of Fornalutx, Deia and Valldemossa and try the local cuisine. The tram and train (or local bus) will take you via the attractive local town of Soller to Palma's museums, shops and impressive cathedral.

Or you may find you just want to enjoy El Castillo: to prepare something delicious on the island kitchen as the sun sets over the sea, and dine on the terrace as the lights come up on the hillside opposite. Whatever your preference, El Castillo has a magic all of its own that draws guests back time and time again.

Beautiful property in Port Soller

Loved our stay at El Castillo, property is beautiful with wonderful views over Port Soller. Richard was very helpful, excellent communication before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
