Lovingly restored stone farmhouse with spectacular mountain and forest views. Furnished to a high standard and set in small hamlet on quiet country lane, the house has retained many of its original features. Very secluded but near all facilities – schools, shops, health centre, pharmacy, bars and restaurants all within 2-3k. Less than twenty minutes from nearest beaches and small fishing port and market town of Pontedeume. The farmhouse is built of cream coloured granite, with approximately 200 m2 divided into:
on the ground floor, two sitting rooms, large kitchen diner with cast iron wood burning kitchen range, walk-in larder with granite breadoven, laundry room/cloakroom, large verandah.
on the first floor 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en suite, and a large dressing room.
electric heating in the kitchen/diner, storage heaters, two wood burning stoves and a wood burning oven. Water is from a natural well in the garden and there is a spring with an issuing stream bordering the property.
The lawns extend to 4500m2, the lower lawns being laid out as a nine hole pitch and putt golf course.
Situation The house is situated 40 minutes from the large town of La Coruna and Coruna airport with regular flights to Heathrow (1h40), Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and Seville. It is 1hour from Santiago airport with regular flights to London Stansted, Frankfurt, Paris, Majorca, Canaries, Valencia, etc. The port of Ferrol is 35 minutes drive to the NW. The area has numerous, vast unspoilt beaches, lakes and mountains, with activities ranging from watersports, kayaking, horseriding, golf, sailing and much more.

Excellent!

Beautifull house with all the facilities, lovely and sympathic owners.Romantic decoration. We enjoyed our stay in this nicely restored house. Good adresses for eating out available!
