This beautifully furnished 3 bedroomed home has breathtaking views of La Herradura town and its horseshoe bay.

This exclusive development is edged by natural parkland and is a very peaceful and tranquil place, ideal for walking. The town of La Herradura is only 2km away, small enough to be charmingly Spanish, it is still large enough to offer an excellent range of restaurants, bars, shops and facilities to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Or from high above the hustle and bustle of this little town you can simply sit and watch the world go by from the tranquillity of your own private terrace.

The house:

Los Altos is a luxury 3 bedroom house with accommodation on two levels. Situated on a quiet cul de sac, the accommodation consists of; front door leading to spacious hallway which in turn leads on to 2 twin bedrooms (both with sea views) and family bathroom, one twin bedroom has its own private balcony with views across the bay. Stairs lead down to the main accommodation. The large kitchen/breakfast room is fantastically equipped for all your needs, there is also a lounge/dining room with SKY TV, DVD, CD and free wi-fi connection. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there is a downstairs toilet.

The lounge, master bedroom and kitchen lead out through double doors to a large terrace, (35m squared). This overlooks the bay, the forests and the surrounding mountains. A covered area of the terrace provides shade from the sun all day and there is plenty of room for sunbathing or barbecueing on the terrace. All bedrooms, lounge and kitchen have spectacular views of the sea and the bay.

The accommodation has been furnished to the highest standard in a modern, classical style and every room has a spectuacular view of the bay and surrounding mountains.

The house has a shared full size pool and toddler pool with grassed areas, plenty of sunbeds and parasols and stunning views of the surrounding scenery. There are also two paddle tennis courts.

Safety:

Baby cot available, 2 baby gates, high chair, fire alarm.
There is also a camp bed available for an extra child.

Notes
With sunshine averaged at 320 days of the year, you can sit on the beach in December, this makes the perfect summer or winter resort, with many local attractions, while the historic town of Granada, the Alhambra Palace and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are only 1 hours drive away.

This area is a marine park so the diving and snorkelling are fantastic, (almost as good as the carribean!)

Other attractions:
Water sports, paragliding, hang gliding, pony trekking, diving, yacht charter, walking, Wildlife safaris. There are also two Aqua Parks. Two 9 hole courses at Salobrena (15 minutes drive).

Discounts for bookings over 2 weeks (ie 16 days plus) are available.

Great villa with greta views

We have stayed here 3 times and would recommend this villa and area to anyone. It has a great view, clean tidy and spacious and if you have any questions you will have a warm and helpful response from the owner. We cannot fault anything, we have never been back to the same resort 3 times so this is a real find to relax, explore and just enjoy a part of unspoilt spain.

Luxurious Accomodation in a Beautiful Area of Spain !

We stayed in this townhouse in 2010 and have just re-booked for this year ! We are always very careful where in Spain we stay as we don't like area's which are too commercialised - this area certainly isn't - very Spanish resort, very little English spoken - perfect ! The townhouse itself is in a great location - the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and its's so peaceful. The townhouse is huge, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. With a family of 5 staying here it was great to have 3 bathrooms ! We hired a car and i would recommend this to get out and about. There are supermarkets in La Herradura but we tended to use Lidl in Almunecar which was cheaper and more choice than the supermarkets. There are some great restaurants in La Herradura, cant remember the names of the ones we went too but there is plenty of information in the townhouse recommending certain ones. We used the swimming pool alot, with three children and the weather very hot (but not unbearable in August) they were happy to spend alot of time in the pool which was VERY clean. I always worry about swimming pools abroad with hygiene but the water was clear and not murky like you hear about in some pools abroad. There are also Paddle Tennis Courts which they used a couple of times but it was rather hot for this. I would thoroughly recommend this accomodation to stay in, it's very reasonably priced, the owner of the home is lovely, i had lots of questions to ask when we first stayed there, she always answered them quickly, was more than helpful and really is a lovely lady. We cant wait for our holiday this year !
