Open plan, the apartment has one double bedroom with separate kitchen and living areas. There is a dining area with seating for four, and a large, modern bathroom with shower. The apartment is only a short stroll from the village centre and has easy parking on the main road. There is a communal pool and gardens, with amazing views over the valley below also a public gym a short stroll away. The Costa del Sol area Frigiliana is a peaceful and characterful location, nestling in the foothills of the Alpujarra mountains. This award winning, traditional Spanish village also has a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and shops. The village is a maze of whitewashed streets, steeped in history with fascinating architecture. There are stunning views and easy access to mountain walks, and Frigiliana is often described as a walker’s paradise, being on the edge of a national park. Horseriding, golf and a range of water sports are all available in the surrounding areas. The costal resort of Nerja is 6 kms away, with an excellent bus service should guests prefer to leave the car at home. However, for those with a car, Frigiliana is a perfect base from which to explore the region, with cities such as Granada and Malaga within easy reach. Frigiliana The village is famous for its local wine and honey. There are many local shops selling crafts and ceramics. Guests can take a guided tour which includes the village church dating back to 1640. Frigiliana also boasts a state of the art fitness centre which is open to the public. To get there Fly to Malaga airport. Guests can then take the local bus service to Frigiliana via Nerja, or hire a car at the airport. To drive, follow the motorway signs for Motril/Almeria. Take the Nerja/Frigiliana exit (292). Frigiliana is clearly signed and is approximately 4 kms from the exit. Total journey time approx. 45 minutes. Detailed directions provided on enquiry/booking.
