Luxury Rural House with swimming pool and garden, situated in the beautiful little village of El Cañuelo, with stunning views of the Subbetica natural park mountain range in the South of the Cordoba province, with four other beautiful provinces on our doorstep, giving our guests endless possibilities to choose from a huge list of stunning places to visit and of course the endless activities available in the area, meaning that your stay with us will be anything but dull!
There is hiking, cycling, horse riding, golf, Cultural sightseeing, day trips to beaches, Skiing, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, museums & even sherry tasting, or if you prefer you can just relax in the endless sunny days by the pool and enjoy a relaxing massage.
El cañuelo is located 10 minutes from Priego de Cordoba. The village has 2 bars/restaurants. 2 minutes away by car are the villages of Fuente Tojar & Zamoranos which have banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, various bars/restaurants.
We also have another smaller house next door, ‘the little lirio azul’ which sleeps 2+1, please let us know if you are interested & we will send you photos & information!
There are plenty of wonderful places to visit on our doorstep in the Subbetica mountains area, such as, Alcala la Real, with its dramatic castle; Zuheros, a village set high up on a cliff, nestled in a gorge with spectacular caves; Priego de Cordoba the home Cordoban baroque & its wonderful cliff top balcony & Iznajar with its beautiful lake, just to mention a few of the many pretty hamlets, villages and towns all located at a short distance from El Canuelo. You can also enjoy following the stunning ‘Ruta del Califato,’ the medieval caliphar route from Cordoba to Granada, full of castles and fascinating history!
