This authentic Spanish house is situated in the very heart of Salobrena. It is ideally located at the foot of the hill to the old town (practically, there are usually places to park directly outside the house or close by, whereas parking in the old town is notoriously impossible and for many - a windy road & narrow-street nightmare too far!) However, once up in the old town you can visit: the museum of Salobrena, the Moorish castle, the church, various restaurants and the floral walk with its views across Salobrena and out to sea. Going in the opposite direction you are moments from all the local shops, cafes, banks and restaurants and only 10 minutes from the beach. Usefully, there is also a small local shop almost right opposite the house as well as several super and mini-markets scattered around the town; including the twice weekly outdoor market (Tuesdays and Fridays) selling typical Spanish foods, clothing and household goods. Furthermore, there is a seasonal night market on Wednesdays from 9 PM by the local park.
The house is perfectly placed in Salobrena with the beach a mere 5-10 minutes walk away (depending on your speed!) And Salobrena itself is perfectly placed on the Costa Tropical. With the vibrant and historic city of Granada and its beautiful Alhambra Palace within 45 mins drive north, and the moutainous Alpujjaras region with its pretty villages and stunning scenery around half an hour's drive - there is plenty of diversity to be found around Salobrena. Holidaying at this property is a truly Spanish experience where one can witness the daily goings-on of the town and its people; with locals going about their daily routine: conversing, strolling-by or buying their fresh bread and eggs from the delivery vans that stop near the house during the week. It has been said that holidaying here is like experiencing a true slice of Andalucian life, where one goes native for the duration of one's stay. One final note: if you are thinking of staying in Salobrena over Easter, the house is perfect for your stay as the Semana Santa nightly processions go directly past the house and can be viewed with front row priority seating (!) from the front door step, front bedroom or roof terrace.

The property has two main bedrooms with a double bed in each. The second double (back) bedroom is accessed via a corridor room (bedroom 3) that has a single bed which is ideal for children or adults alike who do not require a private room of their own.

I cannot fault this place!

We have just spent a few days in Salobrena at this charming little house. We couldn't ask for more. Excellent location. Near everything! Easy parking. Clean and bright. Wonderful roof terrace with sun from dawn till 7PM. A lot of house for little money. Coming back next year! Thank you.

Four grown-ups and one toddler enjoyed their stay

Lovely house, well equipped, great terrace, really nice rooms, 10 min. walking to the beach and situated in the old part of Salobrena - for a really good price. I can definitely recommend it and would go there again!
