The apartment has 3 bedrooms (the first with a 90 cm bed, the second with a double 135cm bed, and the third bedroom with a 150 cm bed), a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, work room, 2 bathrooms and a small “patio” (backyard). Although the optimal occupancy is 4 or 5 people, in the work room has a 135cm sofa-bed suitable for two people. The apartment is located on the first floor(about 12 steps).
The recent restoration has tried to maintain the specific characteristics of the old houses of Cadiz, preserving the original flooring in some rooms, while maintaining some of the wooden doors and windows with "quitaluces" (wooden shutters) and a "cierro" (the typical Cadiz closed balconies). With heating.
Near the house is the cathedral, the central market (whose visit is highly recommended), the shops and monuments. The nearby restaurants offer is enormous, highlighting the typical “pescaito frito” (fried fish). (If you wish, homeowners can leave a list of personal recommendations). The railway station and bus station are 10 minutes walking.
The street is pedestrian. Parking at 150 meters, easily accessible. Taxi stand at 100 meters. For the city is not necessary to use the car.
Cadiz is one of the most enjoyable cities in Europe, luminous, different, full of charm, welcoming and diverse. Its dimensions invite to you to walk, swim at the beach (10 minutes walking from the house), or sitting on benches in the gardens and “plazas” (squares) at any time. The city is very flat, much of the streets are pedestrian and it is very suitable for the elderly.
Cadiz is the ideal starting point to visit the picturesque towns nearby: Puerto de Santa Maria (walking on a nice boat ride), Jerez de la Frontera, Vejer de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia, the Roman ruins on the beach Bolonia, Tarifa, etc.

Beautifully presented apartment in the heart of old Cadiz

We were very impressed with the welcoming, tasteful and high quality presentation of this apartment, including the pleasing combination of traditional and new furniture, the decor and the high quality linen and furnishings. We were appreciative of the throws on the sofas to snuggle into as a few of the nights were unseasonably chilly! The modern heaters were a great bonus and easy to use when we had to switch them on briefly at night. The extremely comfortable double bed and good quality duvet enabled us to sleep well. The kitchen was lovely - brand new and extremely well equipped, including a good range of new pans and utensils, a coffee maker, a large fridge-freezer and dishwasher. We were appreciative of the care the owners had taken to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible and will definitely go there again.

Fantastic property!

From the moment we stepped inside of this charming apartment we were thrilled. Its huge with modern appliances, flat screen tv, hundreds of books and music choices, and immaculately clean. The pictures dont tell the story. This place is great. Now that I have told you are feelings about the apartment itself, lets talk about just how great the location is! The street is a quiet one in the old section of town. But you are literally twenty yards from the cathedral and its square and thirty yards away from the towns market. Food in Cadiz is very inexpensive, however, given the proximity to the market and the great kitchen, we walked to the market one morning and purchased fresh steaks cut to the width we desired, eggs, fresh bread, calamari, fresh fruit, orange juice, etc. for less than thirty dollars and cooked up a great meal. We were also lucky enough to be in Cadiz during Carnivale. Everyone should go to Cadiz for Carnivale! Words can't describe it. Thanks Manuel, we will definately be back!

Large space and a great location

This is a great apartment. The photos on the web site dont actually do it justice, it is a great space with a comfortable and modern look while still holding a classic charm. The owners were very helpful and friendly
