Nice and cosy one-bedrom apartment in front of the beautiful beach La Tejita, in between the village el Medano ( the wind and kite surfing center of the island) and the village Los Abrigos (next to Golf del Sur). Located in the apartment complex Sotavento, with two swimming pools and green areas.
The apartment has a living room with an open kitchen, one bedroom with a double-bed (135 cm), bathroom with a bathtub, and a small room with a washing machine. There is a balcony with sea-view that has the morning and afternoon sun, and a private solarium of 16 m2 that gets the afternoon and evening sun, with grill oportunities. The complex is placed apart from the tourist center, so the beach nearby is never crowded, and in the village, which lies only five minutes away, you can find all you need of banks, pharmacy, supermarkets, local shops, restaurants, etc...
Just outside the doorstep you have good possibilities for walking, like going up the hill "Montanya Roja" is a perfect and healthy way to start the day, and up there you'll get a beautiful view of El Medano, Los Abrigos and Teide.
In the village el Medano there are great opportunities to do surfing courses and if you already know have to surf then it's the perfect place to practice. Here, there is a lot of restaurants, bars, and pubs so you don't need to go to Las Americas if you want to have a drink late at night. Every Saturday it is a market on the plaza, just in front of the beach.
Anyway the touristic center of Las Americas and Los Cristianos is just 20 minutes away by car. And here you find Europes biggest waterpark Siam Park.
Los Abrigos is a smaller village, with a nice harbour with restaurants and great for snorkelling. The beaches here are natural with vulcanic sand and stones.
The beaches of La Tejita and El Medano are natural sandbeaches.
The buses from el Medano to Los Cristianos stops just outside the complex Sotavento and in Los Abrigos, and leaves every hour both ways.
The Airport Reina Sofia (South Airport) is just 10 min away and costs more or less 12 euroes one way with taxi.
The Golf resort "Golf del sur" is just 10 min away in car/bus.
This is an apartment perfect for those who wants sun and beach, but at the same time do not want to be in the middle of the crowded tourist center. For those who are interested in surf and/or golf. And for those who wants to get to know the local Teneriff, but at the same time wants to enjoy all the benefits of being a tourist.
