You will be welcomed to your luxury apartment in Phase One on Roda Golf & Beach Resort by the local agent who will show you how everything works and help with enquiries. With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for families, groups of friends or golfers and come fully equipped with linen, towels, glasses, pots. pans and china – everything you need to make your stay comfortable and easy. The choice of air conditioning or central heating makes them the perfect accommodation any time of the year.A few minutes’ walk will bring you to the Club House and The Collados de Roda Restaurant which offers a great menu (including home delivery) and lovely terraces where you can enjoy a coffee or aperitif with free wifi access. Remember the tennis, children’s play parks, paddle tennis, gym and minimarket are only a few minutes walk as well!

The apartment is furnished to high standards and you will find that the living room and master bedroom access the spacious patio and are furnished with comfy leather suits, local wooden furniture, flat screen tv. dvd/cd player. The master bedroom comes with fully fitted wardrobes with either double or single beds, while the second bedroom is furnished with single beds and walk in shower in the family bathrooms.

Roda Golf is located on the beautiful shores of the Mar Menor next to Los Alcazares, an old fishing and saltwater spa town, resonating with history dating back to Richard the LionHeart and beyond! With 7 kms of safe shallow sandy beaches and walkways for promenading and cycling you will be spoiled for choice of where to relax, sample beach-side dining or try out activities such as sailing, wind-surfing, kite boarding, scuba diving, pedallos and fishing. You will find it easy to cycle to the local beach but you will need a hat in the summer! Try out the famous mud baths, because of a mixture of highly concentrated salt water and excessive sunshine the build up of mud contains many minerals and is reputed have health benefits used by the ancient Chinese. The area benefits from around 300 days of sunshine per year, with an average temperature of 21ºC, making it a perfect holiday destination at any time of the year. The beaches are supervised in the summer season and maintained to a very high standard at all times of the year so even when the summer is over you can still enjoy cycling, walking and sunbathing on a lovely clean beaches. The ideal location makes travel to other areas such as Cartagena, Murcia, the nature reserves at Guardamar and Sierra Espuna and even further north to Madrid and Barcelona easy. You will find a huge choice of markets to wander round and experience Spanish culture. When it comes to dining out you will be spoilt for choice, from simple tapas, traditional Spanish food, seafood, steaks, Chinese, Mexican or Italian, something to suit all tastes. There is an amazing selection of fiestas throughout the year and wonderful live concerts both in San Javier (10 minutes) and Murcia (30 minutes); along with the ancient ruins at Cartagena and marinas, Murcia with its cathedral, shopping, international football stadium and the mountains of the Sierra Espuna. The region of Murcia is brimming over with history, culture and gastronomic ideas!!

Roda Golf and Beach Resort has a superb 18-hole, par 72 golf course designed by Dave Thomas. With its undulating greens, lakes, strategically placed bunkers and breath-taking views it provides a challenging round or two. The PGA Golf Academy provides golfers of all levels with a wide range of resources to help improve their game including individual tuition, group lessons, junior academy, an introduction to golf as well as organising golf competitions. Easily accessible are at least 10 other golf courses including those designed by Severiano Ballesteros and Nicklaus and we would be happy to book your golf break.
Our beautiful clubhouse with its Collados de Roda Restaurant and large terraces overlooking the golf course is perfect for relaxing with a coffee or a glass of wine or enjoying the jazz during the summer. It offers a wide range of menus starting with breakfast through to dinner and you can also phone for take-away from the normal menu. Refreshments are served on the terraces overlooking the course and in the summer offers live entertainment by local Spanish will find a vast number of regional parks each with its own unique beauty, flora and fauna. For example, The Parque Regional de Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro (25 minutes), which is great for walking, photography and bird-watching migrating birds; you can see beautiful pink flamingos as well as a variety of birds such as herons, egrets, grebe, plovers, storks, owls and eaglets. Scuba divers will love the Hormigas Islands near Cabo de Palos which is a well-known Marine Reserve due to their exceptional beauty and the conservation of the sea floor and you will find dive centres along the Costa Calida Coast. Murcia offers miles of footpaths and in particular El Valle and Carrascoy offer a great opportunity to explore and view the vistas of southern Spain. Travel Details
Road: Roda Golf and Beach Resort is easily accessible from the Spanish motorway network from Cartagena, Alicante and Murcia. Find us on Highway AP-7, exit 786 Los Alcazares North.
Air: Murcia San Javier Airport is only 10 minutes away and well served by all major UK airports. The larger airport of Alicante is 50 minutes by motorway and is served by many of the major European airlines from the UK, Ireland, Germany Holland, and Scandinavia. Opening soon in 2012 is the new airport at Corvera, so watch out for details of flights.
Rail: The Spanish rail system has a good reputation for comfort and timekeeping; the nearest station is at Torre Pacheco which will take you to Balsicas, Cartegena and Murcia.
