The apartment is within easy reach of Malaga, Mijas and Fuengirola. Although you can walk, a car is recommended to make the best of this area. You can get a train from Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel station to Malaga or Fuengirola, or a bus from the main road to Mijas or into Benalmadena Costa. The town of Arroyo De La Miel with it´s many shops, bars and restaurants, is a 5 min. bus ride away.
The local bus which picks up across the road from the gates of the complex has many stops including the nearest supermarket and Tivoli World amusement park. It terminates at the harbour of Benalmadena-Costa and Benalmadena-pueblo, which is a small village in the mountains with views of the sea and the surrounding area . It will also take you to the beach. The beach at Torrequebrada is close by, clean sandy & safe.

There is also a network of over forty five foot/hiking paths around the mountainous areas in the municipality of Benalmádena to explore. Many of them have rest areas and panoramic viewpoints to stop,at where you can take in spectacular views of the low lying surrounding areas, the sparkling blue ocean as a backdrop and observe the natural beauty of the mountainside. On a clear day you can also catch a glimpse of Gibraltar and even the African country of Morocco on the horizon.
