Situated on the Southern Costa Blanca, 40 minutes south of the cosmopolitan coastal resort of Alicante and 30 minutes from the beautiful historic city of Murcia, Las Ramblas golf complex is located 5 minutes from the beach near La Zenia, Orihuela Costa.

Las Ramblas

Las Ramblas is an attractive, peaceful, secure gated community boasting spectucular views across the 18 hole golf course to the sea beyond. Immediately next to Las Ramblas are two further 18 hole golf course: Real Campoamor and Villamartin.

Local Area

The area is reputed for its many leisure facilities (sailing, swimming, cycling, climbing, bird watching, canoeing, go-karting, aqua park, sea fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, walking, windsurfing, horse riding and tennis) and its numerous blue flag beaches, all within easy reach of the apartment. Beaches range from smaller local bays, to the wide beaches bordering the still waters of the Mar Menor (the inland saltwater lagoon behind the La Manga strip) and the long, unspoiled beaches of Guardamar and La Marina.

The Apartment

We consider the apartment much more as a "second home" rather than a holiday apartment and, as such, it is equipped to a very high standard. Our aim is to ensure that you feel “at home” when you stay and that you have everything to enable a comfortable and enjoyable visit whether it be for golf, the beach or a winter break. In short, we want you to want to come back and, of course, to tell your friends about us!

The apartment is bright and sunny and is tiled throughout with beautiful marble tiles. There are three double bedrooms (one double bed and four single beds) with plenty of storage space and loads of hangers - as we know how annoying it is to arrive somewhere and not to be able to hang up your clothes!

There is a full size bathroom with a shower and also a separate en-suite shower room to the master bedroom.

There are two private terraces, a smaller terrace is accessed from the master bedroom and the main terrace is accessed from the sitting room. The main terrace is south facing and enjoys the sun from about 10.30am until sunset. There are dining facilities for 6 people, a shaded area, a sunbathing area and a gas "kettle" BBQ. The terrace is planted with hibiscus, oleanders and bourgainvillea.

The sitting area is modern and bright, with comfortable seating and an open log fireplace for those Autumn or Spring evenings.

The dining area has seating for six people and a display cabinet containing a full dinner service, with all necessary glasses and serving dishes required for a full scale dinner party!

The American style kitchen is semi open plan and leads to a utility area. All work surfaces are in granite and we are sure you will find just about all the equipment you would find at home. If not, please tell us and well make sure its there next time!

Swimming Pool

The shared swimming pool is about 2 minutes walk away. It is an interesting pool with rock features, a fountain and a waterfall - with a grassy area for sunbathing around it. The pool is of gently graduating depth so small children can play safely in the shallow water at one end while you swim at the other!

Evening Entertainment

Las Ramblas is extremely peaceful - you can BBQ on the terrace and often not hear a soul - - and that is one of its main attractions! However, within minutes you can be in any number of excellent restaurants - ranging from very simple to those offering a true gastronic experience. The closest (apart from the Las Ramblas clubhouse and La Fuente Commercial Centre) is no more than 3 minutes drive away! And if you prefer, taxis are cheap and reliable... La Fuente is a newly opened Commercial Centre offering a number of bars and restaurants with outside terraces. It is situated just outside the main gates of Las Ramblas and can be walked to in about 20 mins.

The new Clubhouse on Las Ramblas finally opened its doors in the Autumn of 2009. It is an extremely stylish venue, with spectacular views across the golf course and countryside - with a bar and indoor and outdoor dining. The restaurant serves anything from snacks to fabulous local gastronomic dishes - and is open until midnight each day...

Alternatively, within an easy 15 minute drive, you can stroll along the sea-front paseo in Torrevieja and take a drink or have a meal at one of the numerous bars or restaurants.

15 minutes drive in the other direction will take you to the late night Spanish town of San Pedro or to the sea-front bars of Lo Pagan, which are bustling with local people until the early hours of the morning - epecially at weekends!

We have owned our apartment in Las Ramblas for 8 years now and have had many successful lettings, with many repeat visitors. I live in Brighton, UK and work as a European Account Director for a large US Corporation. I'm happy to communicate in English, French or Spanish. If you do choose to stay in our apartment, we will do our very best to ensure you have a fabulous holiday - we have representatives in Spain to help us achieve this.
