The property is set in two acres of well maintained gardens with olive, orange, fig and lemon trees, grapevines and palms. Large areas of the outside are paved in local stone so that there are oodles of space for games and sunbathing. One of the most delightful features of the villa is its magnificent pool, a very generous 10x5m. This is fully tiled with roman steps. There is an outside barbecue area with beams and a tiled roof, and evening lighting.
Here there is a charcoal barbecue for afficionados of that cooking, but also a gas barbeque that can be used anywhere, even in the courtyard. Also the all important extra beer fridge! Also here are sunloungers, sunshades and wooden dining table and chairs for lunch by the pool. Leading up from the pool area are steps to a delightful vantage area on the top of our 'cisterna', or water tank. This is where the water from our own well is kept for use. From here one has a superb mountain view, even to the hilltop monastry at Pollensa.
Should you ever have a larger group, we have a gorgeous cottage at the same location, which sleeps four and can be used in addition to the villa, or if there are only four of you!!

Notes
The villa is ideal for children, they just love it here and you won't be able to get them out of the pool!! There are no main roads nearby. There is a large garden to explore. It is very quiet and safe, save for the tinkling of the sheep bells! All the rooms have individual air-conditioning units and there is oil-fired central heating with radiators also in all the rooms so that you have perfect conditions whatever the time of year. A large log burner is a lovely centre of attention for the evenings in the lounge in the winter months.

More about Joe Squier

We live just north of Bristol and have been in property letting for more years that we care to remember. In view of our business, we believe we are in good stead to provide great accommodation with all that is entails, and is well received by everyone.
There are six children in the extended family and they all love their time on the island. We are regularly down there, looking after and improving the property. Dirty job but somebody has to do it!
