We have a paradise on earth here, at the foothill of the Pyrenees. We enjoy the song of nightingales and orioles and many other birds. Around the house are a vegetable garden and herbacious borders, the latter produces wonderful fragrances of roses, lavander and Brugmansia. The pool has underwater lighting for nighttime swimming.
There is no other guest accommodation at Cal Capellà.
The master bedroom has a double bed; the other bedroom can be laid out as a double, twinned or even with three beds, according to your preference.
Sales de Llierca is a perfect base for exploring the hinterland. The Alta Garrotxa Volcanic Natural Park is closeby. Byond, the Pyrenees offer many possibilities for enjoying scenic beauty and interesting towns. There are many affordable, and Michelin-star-restaurants in the area. Walking and biking can be done starting straight from your holiday home.
The village of Tortellà lies within walking distance from the house and offers a fresh bakery, butcher’s shop, two small supermarkets and some cafës.

During the summer months music lovers have a choice of various festivals that are easily reached from Sales de Llierca: the Schubertiada in Vilabertran, the Festival Castell de Peralada and the Festval Pablo Casals in Prades (France).
For those who love to play golf, there are three golf courses in easy reach (25 to 45 minutes).
We highly recommand the video about Girona. If you like the video, which is mainly about the coast, you should know that the inland is even better and far more quiet.
