Recently re-built, Casita Ana’s design is specifically for a cosy and comfortable holiday house suitable for two persons, or a couple with a child of up to two years of age. Available all year round Casita Ana is the ideal location to experience a perfect Andalucian holiday.
The house comprises a small but comprehensive kitchen/diner/lounge with separate bedroom and bathroom. The sunny south and east facing terrace offers fantastic views to the Almijaras mountain range and an array of white washed villages which lay sleepily in the distance.
At 620m above sea level you really do get the feeling you’re on top of the world!
Casita Ana has a Dip Pool on the sun terrace, ideal for cooling off, soaking up the sun and gazing at the stunning views. The Dip Pool is available to guests whose holidays fall between April 1st and October 31st
The design and re-building was undertaken exclusively by the owners. All the woodwork in Casita Ana comes from local reclamation yards or is hand made from salvaged materials. An economical wood burning stove makes the house warm and cosy for winter lets. Guests at Casita Ana may place orders for organic vegetables from our private garden; season depending. We also offer free range duck eggs and organic honey, to order. Likewise organic olive oil and many other locally farmed products are available.
WI-FI is available.
From Casita Ana one may arrive at the coast within 45minutes, likewise the city of Malaga and the airport. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are only a couple of hours away. The Alhambra Palace in Granada and the cities of Cordoba and Sevilla are also within easy reach by car.

More about Anne Focken

I first came to the Axarquia in 1985 and straight away fell in love with the area. The following year I bought a ruin and with the help of my boyfriend we renovated it. Also on my land was another smaller ruin, which in 2003 we renovated and called Casita Ana.
