The Las Atalayas de Aldea del Mar apartment is one of the most charming developments on Spain�s Costa Blanca where you can feel the genuine essence of Mediterranean architecture, all located just 100 metres from the Blue Flag Los Locos beach, inside the Torrevieja town limits.
From the shores of the Mediterranean to the grandiose sierras of the interior, Costa Blanca is one of the most beautiful parts of Spain for families or anyone to visit all year round. With its exceptional climate and spectacular scenery, magnificent sports, leisure, cultural lineup and an extensive culinary palette, Torrevieja and its nearby tourist villages are considered one of the most attractive spots on the Mediterranean coast.
Bedrooms, Bathrooms & Balcony - The lovely apartment has 2 bedrooms, one double with ensuite full sized bathroom including bidet and one twin with separate toilet and shower facilities. There is a sofa bed and baby cot can be provided. The apartment can sleep 5 + baby. The stylish apartment is located on the 11th floor with breathtaking views of the faraway mountain, sea, Torrevieja town and tranquil night views from the balcony that is furnished with wicker armchairs and table to allow you to sit in comfort enjoying the views whilst sipping a cocktail or two.
In the spacious air-conditioned lounge, there is a sofa-bed, so that apartment can sleep up to 5 people. There is also wheelchair access to all areas of the residential complex and 4 lifts to all floors.
Kitchen & Living Room - The Mediterrenean marbled kitchen is fully equipped to include cooker, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutleries and washing machine. The dining area has a round table with 4 comfortable chairs. There is 3 seater sofa ( bed-settee), TV, DVD/MPEG player and coffee tables.
Satelite TV Channels - In addition to the standard local Spanish channels, the apartment is also installed with English Satelite TV Channels to include Sky Sports, Sky News, BBC1, BBC2 , Sky Movie and other channels for indoor relaxation after a fun-filled outdoor activities.
Swimming Pools The Las Atalayas Aldea del Mar outdoor pool comprises a jacuzzi, children and an adult pool. Residents of Las Atalayas complex will also have the privilege of enjoying themselves in the next-door Aldea del Mar crowning swimming pool, arguably one of the best in Spain. The facilities include sunbeds, toilets, showers, poolside, restaurant and bar with access for disabled persons. The pool is usually open from May to October. Daily/ weekly fee which varies through the season, up to 8 Euros per person per day or block booking for 2 weeks at 75 Euros per person ( 5 Euros per day).
Alternatively, one could choose to be embraced by the sea and sun at the Los Locos beach with 2 sun beds and a beach umbrella at the cost of 14 euros for a day
GymThe Aldea Club is located within a minute walk from the apartment and provides a full array of leisure-time facilities such as gym, solarium, sauna, Jacuzzi, and indoor swimming pool makes this apartment an excellent choice for winter breaks.
Local Amenities and Snippets of Leisure The apartment is located near to restaurants, bar and supermarket and a 15-minute scenic walk along the coast to the lively town of Torrevieja where you will be greeted with local Spanish street markets, a picturesque marina and harbour, resident fun fair, a spacious new promenade and buzzing night life. Alternatively, you can choose to take the convenient regular public buses from Los Locos beach to Torrevieja or nearby wide sandy Blue Flag La Mata beach. Wide varieties of restaurants from different countries could be found mushrooming around the tourist town of Torrevieja to satisfy your pallet. Friday hosts one of the largest weekly Spanish local market and it is well worth a visit for great local bargains, fresh food and exciting atmosphere. Craft markets, Aquapark, & Go Karts are all within 3 miles.
Golf Golf enthusiasts are also catered for, as there are five golf courses including 3 championship golf courses (Villamartin La Finca Campoamor Las Ramblas, La Marquesa Golf Course) within 15 to 25 minute drive.
Nearest Airports With wide number of Airlines (Easyjet, Flybe, Ryanair, British Airway, Excel Airways, Iberia and other international airlines) flying to Murcia (San Javier Airport) or Alicante (El Altet Airport), the apartment is located approximately 30 minutes drive along the picturesque coastal or highway route of this lovely part of Spain. Car hire is available from these airports. If pick up is preferred, this can be arranged for a small charge.
Rental Notes A non-refundable deposit of 20 percent will be required to secure the booking. The outstanding balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure date. A Key/Breakage deposit of £100.00 is also payable with outstanding balance. This will be refunded when keys have been returned and no major breakages have been made.
Long winter lets are available at a discount.

The surrounding area is perfect for walking to the beach and the bars and restaurants - and the views were very good . Mr & Mrs Derrick submitted 15 August 07 This was our first visit to Torrevieja and our first attempt at self catering. We were amazed at the apartment, it was very spacious and well equipped, being on the eleventh floor the views were superb, not one sea view but two! It was also very private, and quiet.It had air con but we just used the 2 fans provided. The pool was quite large and very clean, unfortunately there were no sun longers. But the beach was only 5 minutes away so we were more than happy.It was also very secure, it had its own security guard 24 hours a day."

We would not hesitate to come back again. Probably year after next as we are off to Florida next year. We can´t believe our holiday is over and it is depressing to be back to the Scottish weather. We were freezing last night!!! Before I sign off, a point for your attention may be that we had 3 fifteen year old girls with us and they also had a great time and didnt want to go home. So it was the ideal place for a family holiday. A great time was had by all! "
