Holiday studio for rent in Alhaurin El Grande

Los Limoneros is an Air Conditioned and Centrally Heated,self contained detached studio set independently in the 4 acre gardens of this traditional Andalucian Villa. You approach the villa through the electric gates to a large gravelled parking area that is surrounded by Bougainvillea, Palm and Olive trees and other colourful exotic trees and shrubs. You then pass the large Cacti and Succulent garden and walk through the archway to the studio. The studio has its own seating area under a Jacaranda tree where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast or BBQ your evening meal. The studio has fantastic views across the patio and swimming pool to the beautiful Andalucian countryside.

Inside there is a king sized bed, TV, video player with video library, radio/CD player, internet access, wardrobe, chests of drawers, fold away table and chairs, ceiling fan light, hairdryer, good selection of books together with information on the local area. Los Limoneros studio is Air Conditioned and Centrally Heated - this is regulated by the guests, all bed linen is provided.

The kitchen contains a combination microwave and oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery, dishes and tea towels. There is a constant supply of hot water. Also available are a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The luxury shower room is tiled throughout and has a walk-in shower, washbasin and a toilet. There is an electrical point for shavers or electric toothbrushes. There is a constant supply of hot water. Bathroom towels are provided.

There are chairs, table and BBQ outside on the patio, overlooking the gardens and beautiful countryside and a 10m by 5m swimming pool, used by a maximum of 4 people, with sun beds and parasols for use by the guests, or try a game of Boules on the pitch and sit with your drink on the bench under the weeping willow.

Los Limoneros is set in the countryside 5km from the towns of Alhaurin el Grande, Cartama and Cóin & therefore it is essential you have a car. The accommodation, gardens and pool have panoramic 300 degree views to the mountains of Sierra las Nieves, Sierra de Banos and Sierra de Agua. The later two form the southern boundary of the El Chorro Lakes, which is a worthwhile visit during your stay. The white villages of Alorzina, Caserabanela and Alora can also be seen from the gardens. Our dark rural skies are ideal for star gazing.

Bars and Restaurants ("Ventas") in the area:-Within 2 kms of Los Limoneros is Venta Los Cabales, and another kilometre brings you to Venta Los Arcos. In the direction of the village of Alhaurin el Grande, 4 kms takes you to Venta El Portón de Piedra and a further 1 km takes you to the town itself. Cartama is 4.5 kms distance from the villa.


The self contained Studio with swimming pool is 5km from Alhaurin el Grande, near Mijas, Andalucia, half an hour from Malaga Airport & Marbella. Suitable for day trips are Nerja (for the caves) Jerez (for the sherry) Gibraltar, Ronda, Sevilla and Granada .

Holiday rental suitable for golf vacations, horseriding, birdwatching, painting holiday, set in peaceful countryside but close to village and coast.

It is essential that you hire a car when staying at Los Limoneros, we are in beautiful countryside but there are no buses.

€100 deposit due immediately, on booking, with balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival.and to include €50 breakage deposit, refunded on checkout. A minimum of a weeks booking applies in the high season and Christmas to New Year, at other times a minimum booking of four nights applies.
Linen and towels are changed after 7 nights.
