Description: |
Our ground floor apartment has a lovely back garden which overlooks hole 5 and enjoys the sun for most of the day and early evening. The front of the apartment looks onto the pool. The apartment itself has 2 twin bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge diner and a fully fitted kitchen. The bedrooms, one overlooking the pool and the other the golf course, have fitted wardrobes. The bathroom is fitted with a shower (over the bath), toilet, wash basin and bidet. The lounge diner is eqipped with TV, DVD and a mini hifi system. There are french windows which open onto the terrace and garden where there is patio furniture. The fully fitted kitchen has a ceramic hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The washer/dryer is in the utility area at the front of the apartment. There is an underground garage which is electronically accessed. The apartment has electric heating for those cooler winter nights. Sheets and towels provided weekly.
The swimming pool is open from mid June to mid September.
The Islantilla Golf Clubhouse is quite near and has an excellent restaurant and bar.
This part of the Costa de la Luz has wonderful sandy beaches, many set amongst pine forests and sand dunes. It is unspoilt and offers a chance to relax in an area of Spain which is largely untouched by mass commercialism. There are various outdoor activities to get involved in if you are so inclined e.g. tennis, waterskiing, wind surfing and walking in the Donana National Park. There is also easy motorway access to the beautiful city of Seville, Huelva and Portugal.
The nearest airports are Seville and Faro, both approximately an hours drive away. Faro has a greater choice of low cost carriers.
