The extremely spacious, open plan living and kitchen area has a large picture window through which guests can enjoy amazing sea views. The lounge is comfortably furnished and the high ceiling makes the room feel extremely light and airy. The well equipped kitchen has recently been refurbished and there is a large breakfast bar. There are two bedrooms each with twin beds and built in wardrobes. One of the bedrooms also enjoys excellent sea views. The apartment has a full bathroom which has a shower and twin basin. The apartment is on a small complex which has a large, shared swimming pool. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with ample sunloungers and is set within a well established sub tropical garden. Overlooking the pool area is an extremely popular bar which serves snacks and drinks. Also in the communal area is a pool table. The apartment has a large private terrace which has commanding, panoramic views over the old harbour of Puerto Del Carmen towards Fuerteventura. A patio table and chairs are provided under a shaded pergola area and there are also sunloungers on the private terrace. This apartment is perfect for guests who wish to soak up amazing views and make the most of the Lanzarote sun. A complimentary pick up service from the airport is included along with a welcome pack upon arrival. About Puerto del Carmen About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious. In the evenings you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area youll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants. Changeover: Thursday Owners Tips The apartment is located in the old town area of Puerto Del Carmen. The old harbour is full of character and is only a 5 minute walk away. Some of the island’s best fish restaurants and tapas bars are situated around this area and guests can also enjoy excursions on glass bottom boats which also depart from the old harbour. In additional, there is a wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. The nearest beach is Playa Chica which is a pretty beach with a shallow slope into the sea and is only a 10 minute walk away. This area of Puerto Del Carmen is quite hilly and the pool area on the complex is accessed via a flight of steps, hence it is not suitable for someone with walking difficulties. The complex is only a 10 minute transfer from Lanzarote Airport.
