Description: |
This stunning location (350m2 construction) sits in the Spanish countryside overlooking the 14th Century town of Monovar. The villa sits high on a hill with wonderful views of the mountains that totally surround the plot of 10,000M2. Suits all the family, ideal for relaxing, taking in the suns rays, swimming, child’s splash pool, games room (Includes pool table, table soccer, darts, board games and children’s toys) & its own bar. Children’s play area with toys, outside. The pictures do not do justice to this amazing villa. This villa can be enjoyed Summer or Winter with the roses blooming in the Spring. A romantic or family hideaway. The villa is totally secluded and fully fenced in. It has its own 300 meter driveway and well away from the nearest road. A wonderful setting for a special event or celebration. One tenant is getting married here in 2009.
The villa is built to a high standard and tastefully furnished. There is a tiled patio of over 500m2 surrounding the kidney shaped pool. There is a childs splash pool next to the main pool. A large BBQ for al-fresco dining with a Pergola that seats up-to 12 people, under a water proof roof. The patio lights up at night so you can use it all the time, whilst the kids sleep. Great games room for all the family with pool, darts, table soccer, board games and toys for the children. It even has its own bar & fridge.
Inside Facilities
Lounge/Diner
In the lounge is Satellite TV, video, CD player, Stereo, DVD Player and several tapes, dvds and cd’s for the tenants exclusive use. Leather seating for 12 people with reproduction furniture. The lounge is also a dining room with placemats, glasses and plentiful cutlery.
Conservatory
The lounges access the conservatory, which is an extension of the lounge. The views day and night are superb, overlooking the local town of Monovar, with its blue roofed church at the centre of the twin on top of the hill, this is lit up at night. The whole conservatory opens up, making it suitable day and night Winter, Summer, Spring or the Autumn.
Bedrooms
The villa has four bedrooms with the games room making up the 5th if required. The master suite is spacious, has air conditioning/heating units. The en - suite bathroom has a shower with his and hers basins. There is a second double room with built in wardrobes. The security safe is housed in the wardrobe bolted to the floor. There are two twin bedded rooms, one en-suite (Toilet, basin and bidet) with air conditioning/heating units. The games room doubles up as a fifth sleeping area and has a double sofa bed. The villa has extra beds for children and can sleep upto 12 easily.
Bathrooms
There is another shared bathroom with bath/shower, double basin and bidet. A small bathroom is in one of the twin rooms, which has a basin toilet and bidet.
Kitchen - Utility
The kitchen is modern and has all the white goods. It has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, hob, oven and all the cutlery and utensils you could need. There is a walk in larder and utility area. There is an outside atrium drying area in the centre of the villa.
Games Room
The extension has been professional converted into a games room. This room is great for teenagers giving them plenty to do anytime of the year. There is pool, darts, table soccer, board games. Lots of toys for the younger children. The room has its own bar and fridge. This room also doubles up as the 5th bedroom for larger groups with a double sofa bed.
Outside Facilities
The outside relaxing area is tiled over a 500m2 area. There is a large BBQ with running water, Pergola that seats upto 12 for al-fresco dining. There is a kidney shaped swimming pool 12 x 6 Meters, outside childs play pool and childrens play area. There is a double swing, slide and playhouse with the toys. The garden at the rear is over 100 yards long. There are stunning views all around the villa. The local towns seen from the terraces are Monovar, Sax and Elda. The rear of the villa is South facing, so the sun stays on the pool area all day. There are fantastic sunrises/sunsets every day/night. There is seating around the garden for when a quiet moment is required. With over 20 palm trees, 10 pines, olive trees, fruit tress and a pomegranate this makes the outside very tranquil and relaxing - just close your eyes and it’s the nearest you get to heaven.. The garden is regularly attended to through-out the year. The location is very romantic and great for family celebrations and special birthdays/anniversary‘s. The whole of the rear garden, front gates and censored lights around the villa light up at night, so you can enjoy your stay whatever time you like.
Around & About the area
The area is not a tourist trap and very traditionally Spanish. Albeit the normal tourist areas towards the Alicante area are within a 30 minute drive away. You can enjoy the best of both worlds. The cuisine is reflects the area, albeit some international restaurants can be found in the surrounding towns and villages.
To the East lies the popular Costal towns with Benidorm (45 Minute drive), Calpe, Javea, Denia in the same area. Valencia is approximately two hours and Barcelona at 4 Hours. All these areas are easily accessible for days out. To the West is Torreivja, Murcia at just over 1 hour, South is Alicante at 30 minutes with its great shopping. North at 4 hours is Madrid. You can all the way on one Motorway (A31). If you are driving to Spain we can offer you a great route that takes 18 hours driving.
The area is famous for its wine production. The wine is very mellow and fruity. Vineyards stretch 10 miles in every direction and there are plentiful Bodegas for wine tasting and buying. Try the Primitivo Qulies, just around the corner. The area also specializes in Spanish Chocolate in Elda and leather goods. There are lots of local markets around, the details of which are kept in the information book locally.
The area is renowned for its superb walking, climbing and cycling holidays.
The nearest beach is at Santa Pola, which takes approximately 30 minutes to drive. There are several other award winning beaches in the area.
Golf
The nearest golf course to the villa is Allenda, which is an 18 hole tournament course at a 10 minute drive. There are five other golf courses on the Costa Blanca all of which are within 1 hours drive. Clubs and buggies can be hired at most courses. Handicaps maybe required. Monovar will have its own golf course in 2010.
Watersports
Various water sports are available at the nearest beaches and all along the Coast.
