Description: |
The villa is a whitewashed linked villa laid out on two levels situated on a small friendly community of 19 villas with communal gardens and a large, communal swimming pool. Moraira is a small coastal town in the La Marina Alta area of the Valencian community lying approx 80kms north of the city of Alicante and 100kms south of Valencia. Moraira remains one of the most unspoilt resorts on the Costa Blanca not least because the local council has resisted the urge to build "skyscrapers", the majority of buildings are only five floors.
Morairas roots have not changed much. The fishermen still go out in the early hours each day and bring back their fresh catch to be auctioned at the traditional fish market perpetuating the history as a fishing village. The area is also renowned for the Muscatel dessert wine for which the grapes are grown locally.
Built in 1985 the Moraira Club Nautico is one of the largest and best appointed of the nautical attractions of the Valencian Community and was one of the first to achieve the Blue Flag distinction for the cleanest shorelines in Europe.
Families can enjoy a great day out at Terra Mitica theme park, Mundomar aquarium or Aqualandia Water Park all of which are easily accessed from here.
