Description: |
CASA MARIA is situated in a cul-de-sac with the fabulous back drop of `Montgo’ mountain in Javea (Xabia). The villa is on two levels and comprises of an `L’ shaped glazed `Naya’, large dining room, lounge with wood burner, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob, electric fan oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Two double and a twin bedroom plus two bathroom/showers, a pool/snooker room on the ground floor and on the upper floor is a master en-suite and a further twin room. Two bedrooms are air conditioned three have ceiling or mobile fans. The villa has gas central heating, for the winter months.
On the South-facing front of the villa, steps lead from an open patio with sun canopy, to a 10m x 5m pool with Roman steps and underwater lighting. A private sunbathing terrace plus a well positioned `Casita’ with BBQ and outdoor kitchen with sun canopy; to one end of the pool and an outside shower and bar to the other. The villa sleeps 10 people comfortably. The garden with palms and cactus trees is private and spacious, plus space for 3 cars. All the rooms are tastefully furnished `Your Perfect Holiday Villa’
Steeped in history, Javea - (Xabia) is overlooked from the north by the Montgo mountain, famous for the cave they call the `Eye it is said locally: "If you gaze into the eye you will be besotted by the area and will return year after year".
The region is known as the `oasis of Spain, with an abundance of olives, almond trees, citrus fruits, vines and pine forests making the area green all year, despite the average 300 days of sunshine.
Javea is a popular holiday resort for families, the Old Town has maintained its whitewashed buildings and narrow streets; combined with the nightly fish markets in the port, Javea reflects an unspoilt part of Spain. The long and safe Arenal sandy beach has a promenade fringed with bars and restaurants. At night, craft stalls are set up and there are childrens amusements, fun fair, trampolines etc. Later in the evening some of the bars become discos. There are two superb 18-hole golf courses within 1.5Km from the villa, the area is magnificent for walking and there is a wide variety of water and other sports available.
Four restaurants are in walking distance of Casa Maria.
