Description: |
Isla Canela is one of the great European tourist developments with some 7 kilometres of sandy rustic beaches,a marina and navigable canals.A number of luxury hotels,restaurants and a wealth of sporting activities makes the location unique in the area.There is a large water park nearby and also a National Parkwhich provides excellent days out for children and adults alike.
The resort is situated some 5 kilometres from the small town of Ayamonte which is the last town in Western Spain next to the Portuguese border.This area shares the charm of both Portugal and Spain with all there combined advantages.
The apartment is on the third floor of a small block of 40 apartments with a swimming pool and pleasant gardens and overlooks the Marina.It has its own secure parking space and lift and is just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach.An 18 hole golf course is just 5 minutes away by car and guests renting the apartment get concessionary green fees.For the more energetic, tennis courts,volley ball and paddle tennis are also available adjacent to the apartment.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is fully equipped for 4 persons,although cutlery etc.is provided for an additional 2 visitors.From the ample balcony there are views over the marina,nature reserve,the picturesque fishing village of Punte del Moral and distant views to Ayamonte and Portugal beyond.A number of good restaurantes and snack bars are available locally and in Ayamonte visitors will be spoilt for choice.All windows and terrace doors are fitted with insect screens so windows can be left open in order to take advantage of the cooling evening breeze.
Portugal can be reached by car in around 15 minutes and there is also a ferry which runs from the town of Ayamonte to the Portugese town of Villa Real.
Isla Canela can be reached from Faro Airport some 50 minutes away and from Seville in around 1 hour.Both airports are available with budget ailines from the UK.
We are unfortunatly not able to allow pets in the apartment.
