Description: |
This lovely 3rd floor luxury apartment in the Vegasol building, with lift, is situated in a very quiet and charming residential area, with the thriving town of Fuengirola only minutes away. It is a large high quality (98.6m) apartment situated in the popular village of Los Pacos, which is between Fuengirola and Benalmadena. The apartment is furnished, equipped and maintained to the highest standard. A high quality welcome pack is provided consisting of: Bread, milk, bacon, cereals, tea, coffee, fruit, beer, champagne (local) etc.
There are 89 apartments within this very attractive, secure complex with a lift. It has two bedrooms, furnished kitchen, bathroom and a large living/dining area with a terrace accessible from both the kitchen and living area. The terrace overlooks the pool. Located at the foot of the Fuengirola hills, the apartment has views to the sea and mountains and as this is a developing area (although still quiet), there are new bars, restaurants and shops literally seconds away.
The terrace is a good size (12 sqm) and is partly shaded to avoid the hot summer sun. There is a view from the terrace of the sea through the many hotels on the front.
You can walk to the beach down through the village and it takes about a 10 minutes. Alternatively you can catch the bus right outside the apartment building. This travels down into Los Boliches and the seafront and on through the centre of Fuengirola (via the bus station where you can catch a bus to Mijas), to the large new shopping complex (Miramar Park), near the Castillo - the cost is 95c! The beach at Los Boliches is very safe and family- friendly. It is a lovely walk along the Paseo Maritmo (promenade) into Fuengirola one way, or through Torreblanca, to Carvajal the other.
The apartment is approximately 20 mins by car from the airport (taxis 30 Euros) or 30 mins by the coastal train service across the road from the airport (less than 2 Euros). The complex has a quiet, good sized swimming pool (which receives sun all day), gym and sauna and all are a moment from your door.
The town of Fuengirola is approx 1km from the apartment and Marbella and Puerto Banus about 15mins on the motorway. Gibraltar can now be accessed in less than 1 hour and Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Arroyo de la Miel, Torreblanca, Carvajal and Mijas in minutes, by car bus or train.
There are many golf courses up and down the coast and for non golfers there are many other things to keep you entertained including: water sports, fishing, scuba diving, aqua parks (Torremolinos and Mijas), horse riding, tennis, horse racing, zoo, Tivoli world theme park for the children, Selwo wildlife park, Selwo dolphinarium and a big shopping mall with a multi cinema with the latest films shown in English. The newly opened Fuengirola racket club is round the corner from the apartment and courts can be booked by holiday makers. There is also a small newly opened park for children of 3-10yrs 150yds away.
