This property is located near the historic center, which is the area of town closest to the sea. The huge sandy beach is only a 600 metre walk away & the local neighbourhood of quiet pedestrianised streets contrasts with the bustling central location. In July & August, Conil is full with spanish holidaymakers and the town comes to life. For the rest of the year Conil remains remarkably undiscovered despite the wonderful climate and setting. This area "Costa de la Luz" (Coast of Light) is aptly named as Cadiz province has the highest annual sunshine hours in the whole of Spain.
Local attractions include the scene of the Battle of Trafalgar - 200 year anniversary October 21st 2005; Vejer, Medina-Sidonia and Arcos for authentic moorish hilltop towns; Cadiz, Jerez and Seville - full of flamenco culture; Sherry and brandy making region; Bull and horse rearing region; Jerez Moto GP, kitesurfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving, horseriding and golf; Coto Doñana and Sierra de Grazalema National Parks; Tarifa and Gibraltar - whale and dolphin watching and gateways to Morocco.
