This property is located near the historic center, which is the area of town closest to the sea. The huge sandy beach is only a 600 metre walk away & the local neighbourhood of quiet pedestrianised streets contrasts with the bustling central location. Cafeterias, bars, restaurants, butchers, bakers & a supermarket are in the next street. The property is on the first floor of a traditional andalucian home, recently renovated with new kitchen,bathroom and wooden flooring. Air Conditioning in open plan Lounge with hand built sofa and UK Sat TV. Washing Machine and Dishwasher also provided.

In July & August, Conil is full with spanish holidaymakers and the town comes to life. For the rest of the year Conil remains remarkably undiscovered despite the wonderful climate and setting. This area "Costa de la Luz" (Coast of Light) is aptly named as Cadiz province has the highest annual sunshine hours in the whole of Spain.
Local attractions include Vejer, Medina-Sidonia and Arcos for authentic moorish hilltop towns; Cadiz, Jerez and Seville - full of flamenco culture; Sherry and brandy making region; Bull and horse rearing region; Jerez Moto GP; location of the Battle of Trafalgar; kitesurfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving, horseriding and golf; Coto Doñana and Sierra de Grazalema National Parks; Tarifa and Gibraltar - whale and dolphin watching and gateways to Morocco.
Once you have indulged your cultural tastebuds, then take time out and relax on countless undeveloped sandy beaches this coastline boasts or enjoy some local seafood in a restaurant or tapas bar - try the locally caught Tuna (Almadraba) which Conil is famous for.

A heavenly place on earth !

The perfect place for anyone who is looking for the true spirit of Andalucia. The sea is warm, there aren't too big waves, there is always some wind so it's never too hot, no insects at all (mosquitoes, flies or wasps) even at lunch. The city never sleeps. You always find plenty of cheap and tasty food at any street corner. The pharmacy is very close and everyone is really ready to help in case of any problem. Great nightlife, clean place, close enough for all kinds of wonderful excursions (Cadiz, Sevilla, Tarifa (to see the whales), the parque of Los Alcornocales, claudio Baelo, Bolonia beach...). The tourist information office is GREAT! We saw a wonderful double flamenco show (dance , song, and one with horses )show at a very good price value in Conil outdoor.I greatly recommend that place.It's very good quality for price value.

Conil

Conil is a charming unspoilt Spanish town, an excellent base for visiting, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Medina Sidonia and many more.
