Holiday cottage for rent in Iznajar

Our 2 cottages are set in 7 private acres of olive groves and Spanish oak,and each form part of a family finca, and offer spacious self catering accommodation, with a certain rustic charm. They are available together or seperatly, to grown ups (12+).

Iznajar, nestles right at the point of which Malaga, Granada, and Cordoba provinces meet, and is just 50 mins from Granada Airport or an hour from Malaga Airport

El Granero is tastefully furnished to a very high standard. It has a spacious lounge with British TV and music channels , sofa, coffee table and sideboard, The separate Andalucian kitchen has many features and is separated via an arch from the lounge.
It provides oven, hob, fridge, toaster ample utensils, glassware and crockery to make your stay enjoyable. There is also a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board, picnic box and games. With these things provided, you only need to bring yourselves and you English tea bags for a wonderful time.
There is a comfortable king size bedroom upstairs , and a downstairs twin bedroom, both with en suite shower rooms.
The private patio and BBQ area, complete with furniture, and the much needed shade of a black fig tree compliment the cottage.
The second cottage has a moorish feel and is new for 2009, entered via a roof terrace with BBQ and seating, it has an open plan kitchen lounge area. Dowstairs you have two bedrooms each with shower room and both with double bed. For brothers sisters etc the lounge has a bed settee. It is purpose built and furnished and take has great sunset views.

Out 12 meter by 6 meter swimming pool, is situated in the most stunning position, with views of both the lake, Iznajar and the surrounding mountains. It is not over looked and there is just the sound of the birds and insects and occasional background tractor. It is never unusual for us to appear pool side with a jug of Sangria, cold beer or slice of melon, complements of the house.

We are just 5 mins from the village bar restaurant and shop, and 15 from Iznajar village.

We want you to return home not only feeling refreshed and relaxed, but feeling like you have gained some friends.We aim to host your stay as best we can, or just leave you alone to get on with it, so come and enjoy!

As this is a family owned property, please be aware that there are household pets wandering around "Encima Del Mundo", so we ask that you respect them too!

Although we welcome children and disabled, we should point out that there are an unavoidable steps and steep drops, to keep the environment natural there is no fencing which could be a hazard for small children.

Month to month:
April- May brings the most beautiful time of various poppies mixed with yellow and blue spring flowers it really is the prettyiest time of year. With best temperatures.

May 1,2,3rd hosts our 3 day fiesta free paella and beer to be had.

June and July maybe uncomfortable for the hayfever sufferer but the best time for those wanting child free holidays.

August books very quickly for the children to enjoy school holidays, very hot month.

September - October is cooling and a superb time for the later holiday maker.

WInter months bring lots of winter sun, but very changeble, perfect for sight seeing and getting round the cits all within an hour hour and a half reach.
