Holiday apartment for rent in Cabo Roig

The apartment is in a quiet urbanisation with shops, bars and restaurants only 5 mins walk away, where public transport is also available. Alicante airport is just 35 mins drive and Murcia airport 20 mins drive away, both these airports are serviced by low cost airlines all year from the UK. Ideal holiday for couples, families or golfers.

Tastefully furnished, this spacious apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, one containing a double bed, the other twin beds, both with large fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. The lounge/dining room contains a double sofa bed with extra pull-out single mattress stored underneath, extending dining table with 4 chairs, digital satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and ceiling fan. The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and most utensils. This leads to a separate utility area with washing machine, sink and clothes airer. There is also a bathroom with shower and bidet. At the front of the apartment is a dining terrace with patio table and chairs for relaxing in the warm spanish sunshine. Up another staircase is a private roof top solarium with gas barbeque and an extra patio table and chairs where you can sunbathe and eat alfresco with a view towards the sea. There is also a lovely private communal pool which has secure access.

Cabo Roig has sandy EEC blue flag award beaches and offers safe swimming, a beautiful marina, rocky coves, water skiing, sailing and scuba diving all which are within an easy 15 min walking distance and with 360 sunny days and warm temperatures this location is ideal for couples, families or golfers seeking either an active or a relaxing holiday. There is a coastal path stretching from Playa Flamenca to Cabo Roig passing natural coves with sandy beaches and caves set in the hillside, this relaxing walk is highly recommended especially if you stop for refreshment at some of the many bars and restaurants along the path.

There are supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants all nearby within easy walking distance on the N332 coastal road with a variety of evening entertainment so its not essential to hire a car to explore the area.

Nearby town of Torrevieja
The bustling town centre of Torrevieja with cosmopolitan shops, street markets, resident funfair and many restaurants and more lively nightlife is a short distance away. Buses are available hourly during the day or taxis are widely available in the evening. On a Friday the largest outdoor market in Spain is held here and there are various markets in the area on different days of the week. Torrevieja has a water park with a good range of rides and pools which is great for adults or kids just 10 mins drive away. Go Karts are available all year round on the coastal road between La Zenia and Torrevieja suitable for adults and children. A day trip to Isle of Tabarca is available during summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the jetty by Torrevieja marina.

Golf facilities
The three championship courses of Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are within a 5 min drive and are open to non members, golf clubs and buggies can be hired for a small fee at the golf courses. La Finca at Algorfa is 20 mins away and La Manga is 30 mins drive. UK winter time is the busiest time for golf in Spain due to their mild climate. Courses may use temporary greens during June and Sept. It is advisable to pre-book your tee off times and you will need to take your handicap certificate with you.

Other Attractions
Alicante is good for shopping with a beautiful marina, Benidorm approx 1 hr away has the largest water park in Europe and the Terra Mitica theme park for white knucle rides, La Manga famous golf and sports complex is just 30 mins south, Murcia has a stunning cathedral and shops, Cartogena which has naval history and the mountains which can be seen from the outskirts of Torrevieja are all easily accessible with Spains good roads. Villamartin plaza near the golf course is superb for eating and drinking with a wide choice of restaurants and quality shops. The natural salt lakes on the outskirts of nearby Torrevieja contributed to the area being named as one of the healthiest places to live in the world by the World Health Organisation. The salt concentration in these large pools draws moisture out of the air and with sunny days and an average temperature of 20 degrees and low annual rainfall the area is ideal for anyone suffering from Asthma, Rheumatism or Arthritis.

Deposits
A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking, balance is due 4 weeks prior to start date.
A £100 refundable damage deposit is also required with the final payment. It will be refunded to you in full within 7 days of the keys being returned to us and subject to there being no damage in the apartment.
Prices include linen and towels.

Prices above are also subject to a 40 euro cleaning charge paid locally for 4 people staying. For 5-6 people staying, 50 euros must be paid.
50% deposit is required to reserve, the remaining balance is due 4 weeks before arrival.
A £100 refundable damage deposit is also required with the final payment. It will be refunded to you in full within 7 days of the keys being returned to us and subject to there being no damage in the apartment.
