The apartment Finished to the highest standards and furnished to a standard superior to that which you would expect from a rental property,this bright, modern and tastefully decorated apartment is located on the prestigious urbanisation of the quiet, beautifully block-paved and well maintained Las Almijaras complex at Baviera Golf, Caleta de Velez.
This well-appointed, newly acquired apartment has marble flooring throughout. It has 2 good-sized bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite). It comfortably sleeps up to six people. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan. Linens and towels (not beach towels) are provided. From the terrace there are excellent views of the mountains and communal pool.
The main bathroom consists of a large wash basin, loo, shower, bath and bidet. The other has a shower, loo and large wash basin. Towels are provided.
The spacious lounge / dining area is attractively furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofabed, satellite T.V / DVD, CD player, and doors opening onto the terrace, giving the room a bright, modern feel. The dining table seats six.
The kitchen is modern and bright with chrome fixtures and fittings. It features an American style fridge/freezer, granite work surfaces, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, portable grill and washing machine. There is a BBQ, table and chairs and sun-loungers on the terrace.
There is a paddle tennis court & kiddies play area on the complex as well as secure underground parking with designated parking space. The pool is open from May - 30th Sept. (Lifeguard supervised)
The apartment is on the first foor but it can be easily accessed by wheelchair / prams and buggies. The lift is directly opposite the front door.
The apartment, linen and towels will be cleaned on each change-over. For stays of more than 7 days, a cleaning service can be provided. On arrival at the apartment, guests receive a welcome pack.
Baviera Golf Ideal for golfers and their families, or indeed anyone who wishes to relax by the inviting swimming pool and soak up the sun, it is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Caleta, the marina and 15 minutes from the town of Torre Del Mar. The Club House, 18 hole golf course and driving range are a 10 minute walk away.
Things to do in the surrounding area The AquaVelis waterpark in Torre Del Mar is a 5 minute drive away, as is the bowling / cinema and shopping complex El Ingenio.
Fishing trips can be arranged directly with staff at the marina / Caleta Port. GoKarting is available in Torre del Mar, 10 minutes away.
Nerja and Frigiliana are only 30 minutes away by car, the resort of Almunecar a 45 minute drive, the Alhambra and Science Park at Granada are accessible in 1 hr and a half by car and in winter, the skiing at the Sierra Nevada resort is accessible by car in under 2 hours.
Both Nerja and Rincon de La Victoria have caves worth exploring. Further afield is the Pablo Picasso foundation and Museum in Malaga.
Closer to home, Caleta has a good selection of bars / restaurants / cafes; and they are in abundance in Torre. There is a large market every Saturday in Caleta, 5 mins way from the apartment.
The marina / promenade which runs from Caleta to Torre is a pleasant stroll at any time of day. Sun-loungers and parasols are available for hire on many parts of the beach.

This well appointed apartment has a TV, dvd player, cd player, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, bbq, grill, a fully equipped kitchen, a cot for children aged 0-3 years, hairdryer, clothes maiden, iron and ironing board, sun-loungers, table and chairs on the terrace. Both bathrooms have toilet, shower and sink. The ensuite bathroom also has a large bath and a bidet. The dining room comfortably seats 6, there are 2 bedrooms and a sofa-bed in the living room. Terrace views are of the mountains and communal pool. There is also secure, underground parking. The large swimming pool is open from May - 30th September. It is always Lifeguard supervised. Also provided is a small gazebo and parasol which the locals use on the beach. Guests receive a welcome pack on arrival.
