Description: |
The apartment has been recently renovated combining rustic features like wooden beams with all modern conveniences and has a spacious livingroom ( 20m, formerly 2 rooms) comprising 2 areas, the dining area with capacity for up to 4 people and the lounge area, which has two large comfortable sofas, one of which converts to a double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern conveniences like a kettle, microwave, dishwasher or a washingmachine. The bathroom benefits from full modernisation with a heated rail towel and an en suite bath. The double bedroom is exterior, has been fitted in rustic style and has a double bed. The balcony overlooks a tree lined cobbled street.
It has air conditioning, central heating and ceiling fans.
Bed linen and towels are provided. A travel cot can be provided upon request ( ask owner for prices). We also provide a collection of dvds in case you wanted to relax in the apartment
Its best advantage, though, is its location as it´s in a 5min. walk from the train station taking you directly to the airport: Arc de Triomf( journey takes 28min.) and from 2 metro stops from 2 different lines: Arc de Triomf( red line) and JaumeI( yellow one). There are also several buses and the main bus station in town( Estacio del Nord) is in a 10 minute walk. If you were coming with a car, there´s a car parking at the end of the street that costs 60€/week
The apartment is located in the upcoming and trendiest area in town right now, the Born, with its charming squares and narrow streets, innovative restaurants, lively bars, museums ( Picasso Museum), art galleries and designer shops, but the street is very calm.
There are many touristic sites in a 5min. walk, like the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the Art Nouveau building of Palace of the Music, the monument of Arc de Triomf, the gothic church of Sta. Mª del Mar, the biggest parc in town( Parc de Ciutadella with the Zoo within), the ruins of Born Market, the 2nd oldest market in town where you can buy all fresh products( Sta. Caterina Market).
The beach is in a pleasant 10min. walk as are the 2 main shopping streets in town, the main avenue and the Port.

Flat is centrally located and will allow you to choose from visiting touristical sites, to shopping or generally enjoying the Barcelona gastronomy. The flat is fully equipped for those evening you want to relax and comes fully furnished with TV, a DVD player, selection of DVDs, books, stereo. If you wish to cook we also provide a fully kitted out kitchen with modern cooker, microwave, kettle, juice maker, coffee maker, toaster, hair dryer, iron facilities, washing machine, dish washer, fridge. For the more temperate weathers the flat also includes central heating, fan ceilings and air conditioning. |
