Description: |
Set above the village of Los Romanes overlooking Lake Vinuela, this apartment is part of a large country house, styled in the Andalucian manner it has beamed ceilings and quarry tiled floors throughout, it is spacious, modern and comfortable. The lounge/diner has comfortable seating for four people. In the lounge you will find all you need for home entertainment. Patio doors from the lounge lead out onto the large private terrace, from here you can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Vinuela and the surrounding countryside and the mountains. The well equiped galley style kitchen has fridge freezer, gas hob and an electric oven. Each of the two large bedrooms (one twin one double) have en suite shower rooms and patio doors opening onto the private terrace, where you will find a BBQ, dining table and chairs for alfresco eating, sun beds and parasols. The 11 x 4.5 metre swimming pool and the terraces surrounding it enjoy views to the historic village of Comares, and on clear days the Mediterranean Sea. On this terrace you will find shady pergolas where you can enjoy your favourite book. The whole area is a haven for people who love the peace and quiet of the countryside, or who just want to relax and enjoy the views.For the fisherman we are now able to obtain fishing licences in advance, for informantion on this just email us. Although in the countryside the apartment is just 20 minutes from the lively sea side town of Torre del Mar. The popular resort of Nerja with its beaches and its wonderful caves, is just 35 minutes away. Granada, Savelle, Cordoba and Malaga are all within driving distance, made easy with the opening of the new and quiet motorways. The hot springs of Alhama de Granada are only 40 minutes away and are a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. There are two very good golf courses within 25 minutes drive and just a little further several more, including the newly opened Antequera golf course. There are many bars and restaurants in the villages which surround the lake. In Torre del Mar there is a water park, ten pin bowling, multi screen cinema and a large shopping centre. Please note that we are in a rural setting, the nearest bar/restaurant is approx. 1klm., and a pleasant down hill walk, but remember it is uphill on the way back!! Shop and bars in village.
