Description: |
The Villa is situated on the Dona Pepa Urbanization in Cuidad Quesada, 5 minutes from shops, bars and restaurants. The Old town of Quesada is about 20 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by car. Here you will find an assortment of restaurants including 2 Indian restaurants, 3 Chinese restaurants, 3 Italian restaurants, a butchers Chop Shop, many banks incorporating ATMs, a tobacconist, an English cafe serving typical English breakfasts and numerous bars, both English, Irish and Spanish! Eating out is very good value in Spain and youll find Wines cheap in restaurants and even cheaper in supermarkets!
Within a mile of the Villa you will find Quesadas Aqua park with its many long flumes to discover, open from April through September.
The closest beach is just 6km away at Guardamar, with its 9 mile long sandy beach. Guardamar is a cosmopolitan town with a vast range of restaurants and a beautiful park - Parque Reine Sofia. Here you will find an abundance of terrapins, ducks, geese, swans and peacocks roaming around the beautifully landscaped gardens and ponds.
The Villa is only 5 minutes away from the closest Golf Course and within 25 minutes of 5 other courses. La Marquesa is Quesadas Golf course. This is a par 72, 18 hole course. The next closest course is La Finca, where a new club house is being built to service the Spanish Open! Details can be obtained and booked prior to departure.
Markets are compulsory entertainment in Spain and you can certainly visit one every day. The closest market to the Villa is just over 3 miles away at Campo de Guardamar, held every Sunday. You will find good value on many items including leather goods, clothing etc.
If you like Horseriding, you can take a hack over the salt lakes of Quesada, details of the local riding stables, also within 1 mile of the Villa are contained in our Information folder at the Villa.
Go-Karting, scuba diving, wind surfing, jet skiing are also close by at Guardamar and Torreveija.
Torrevieja is a bustling town approximately 10 minutes by car.
One of the greatest tourist attractions of Torrevieja has always been its variety of entertainment for young people. There are more than a hundred night bars, the majority concentrated in the so-called El Baluarte area in the La Punta district, which have become a major attraction for thousands of people from all over the world.
